deus ex machina "DAY-əs eks MAH-kee-nə" It's latin for "god from the machine". Since Latin is a dead language and there's no known native speakers alive, how it's pronounced is pretty up in the air I'd guess. also I'm unsure what "Deus Ex" stands for on it's own cos all it's missing in the "machine" bit. So "God from the", or maybe "the god". or "From god" maybe.

I came to this realization back in the mid-90s while in high school. I actually thought I'd get into Digipen. I took a C++ class and hated it after a week. I eventually got a C and was forced to move down to a more generic computer science class.

Once I got out of high school, I knew I wasn't going to be programming games. I thought I could possibly help with the design, but I didn't stay my highly artistic youthful self. I do hope that in Advertising I can possible do in-house for a company, but I'll go where the work is.

I'm hoping to get in through creative means- I didn't think it was possible until Alex Garland got to heavily edit Enslaved, to the point where the dev team actually said he was indespensable in making the experience better overall and more detailed. That's my dream job, basically (though I'd love to make games in general, will never happen and can't really happen).

I'd imagine for ladders it's an animation thing. I can't 100% remember for Deus Ex, but I'm pretty sure it's like most FPS games of it's time where you just sort of magically glide up and down without the use of hands or feet.

Supposedly there's a quake due to hit along the San Andreas fault "soonish" but that's "soon" on a planet scale, so could be days could be months. But in general these' supposedly come in pairs over the past year or so and san andreas is the only side of the tectonic plate the last years of earthquakes have been on, Japan included, yet to be affected.

Bide btw is a horrible move. If you don't time it right you end up attacking instead of leering/growling when someone uses it. And unless you then kill them in the second blow, they kill your pokemon outright, even if you're a few levels higher.

Is it even really possible to hide your games these days. Smartphone n handheld games must be about it these days. Console games have trophy n achievements that'll track all your moves. And on PC Steam does pretty much the same. Even more "screwed" if you use stuff like Raptr.

Well MNC works out right in that aspect (though maybe in favour of euro users there, it's right for £=$). But the Darksiders one seems iffy to be that price. Actually $10 = €7.00/£6.16. So Euro users get it for the most, selling at €7.50, US just after, then us £ users get it the least, especially when you realise about 17% of that is tax the US don't have.

Yeah my lillipup is on par with with Snivly in level cos he's so good against other pokemon. Bummer is when trying to level up rest of my team if I come across another lillipup they kinda kick my ass.

oh btw. This guy is awesome. not so much. Oh I also hate the resolution of the rear pokemon sprites. They're really low. Why'd they do that?
