I really disliked the dogtag system and I'm not even a sniper. The customizing of weapons is actually more limited than the first. In the first you'd pick up a silenced scope SCAR and next thing you know you're also holding a silenced scoped shotgun. In this C2 the attachments aren't so universal. (also they changed the fucking customize button for no reason what so ever. It sent from C for Customize to X for Xtremely stupid) In C1 X swapped between weapon modes, which I can't even remember if C2 had that (swapped between single fire, auto, and unlimited and very silent tranquillizers) Also lots of the same guns lying about. In the first you only had your original SCAR for so long before you ran out of bullets. The Koreans for some reason didn't keep stocks of ammunition for enemy weapons, so eventually you rely on their guns. They were still good mind, not like the game dumped you with ak-47s like most games do. I am curious as to what back story it gives since the only reference to the first game up to now has been Also I've not beaten it, but I'm further than I was in my original run through of Witcher (just to get on topic)

If something is in the news feed it's actually encouraged to pop it into threads if you find it interesting. Apparently he withheld the harddrive controllers, which is a pretty dick move cos without them the hardrives don't work. They're pretty unique to each hard drive. What part of you would think it's okay to dismantle the hardrives before handing them in? Unless you for some reason assume the folks running the case are total retards, then you're gonna get in trouble.

Regardless of the porting skills of the PC team, EA will still probably manage to fuck it up somehow.

It's actually 3 days (at minimum) Could be a couple of months. Depends on the game. But it's main point is that even on digital games, where you've got it preloaded, the game is on your PC, and yet there's an arbitrary nonsensical date in place that means if you live on one part of the world your game unlocks on Day Y, and if you live on a different part of the world it takes until Day X. What's the point? The game is finished, it is gold, it's downloaded on servers and in boxes at the local game store. What reason is there for the arbitrary delay? It's not like global releases can't be done, they've been done a fair few times. In fact COD is released on multiple systems on the same day and that's the biggest game launch of all time, so it's not a scale thing either. It's not the end of the world, though it is a bitch to have to sit through several days of American friends all lit up green blasting away at a game, sometimes even completing it, before you can even boot it up for first launch. (and it's not like it doesn't work in reverse few times too, sometimes the Friday release is first) It's just fucking stupid and there's no reason for it to continue. (though I'll admit with Dead Rising 2 is saved my skin a bit, giving me time to download, test, then cancel my order on the game) (and before you jump to the wrong conclusion like usual, that wasn't me)

Yeah dudes EA does have a [thingy] of letting the studios pretty much work on their own. They'll nudge in some areas like what games you can and can't make, but other than that have general creative freedom. If you can't play Crysis 2 later down the line and the day before you'd just dropped a few comments on MyCrysis, then that'd be EA's doing

tbh I think a lot of the misinformation with the 3DS and "glasses free 3D" is down to the press in general not really understanding it all on a technical level. It's treat as some technical milestone that Nintendo have managed to create a device with a 3.5" screen that displays 3D to one person at a time. How come so few people click that your TV is much much bigger and watched by more than one person at once. Do people just assume that all the TV makers have this technology at their disposal and despite the stigma of glasses 3D continue to put out TV's that need glasses instead of glasses free 3DTV's? Also I wish folks won't notice how damn insensitive they are complaining about having to use glasses to watch the cinema or TV. Boo-fucking-hoo. I have to wear glasses all the time.

Actually you have to sign in with the client at least once to tie your accounts. Also last night I properly hooked up my Steam account to Raptr (so it imports all your Steam stats, not just what games you have and achievements.) It's slightly messed up my New Vegas play time
