      Swimmer_f is pretty hot...

Also, impressed that there is a melon, and glad it is not square. The less confusion, the better. :-)

Gonna resize a couple of the TF2 ones. Some I've made fill the avatar box, and it's just a bit beyond the threshold of what looks okay. So from Heavy 01/02 (the first I made) down to heavy elvis/batman size.

Unsure on adding pkmn B&W or P&D sprites. Similar res, just slightly different designs on some. I guess it'll add variety for some.

About 3 feet? And no, it's comfortably within my main vision. Obviously have to glance around to focus on stuff I'm looking at, but that's the same with the 19" right next to it.
  4. Heh he only had to post one thing, and looking closer it seems Foxstar joined in and he's a huge Nintendo fanboy. I've done better
  5. http://goo.gl/JQsOR - It's really not good for Nintendo when buzz for their console has been in constant decline for 200ys before it's made

Oh that's cos I'm using it as a PC. If it was a HTPC then I'd go as big as possible.
  7. http://goo.gl/Q6YzB - Now the question is, what fucking kind of bugs exactly does IE9 come with?
  8. No. We ended up ordering Chinese via that "Just Eat" thing. You used that?
  9. Hmm. Interesting view point. Fits quite well. I would definitely agree the last decade has seen a huge shift in game design philosophy over ages past.
  10. End of the movie is closure. Basically he planned like 5 seasons, obviously only got one out. So the movie just kind of assumes that all those seasons did happens and goes off from there. Rather than like a "season 2 all crammed into a 2 hour long movie" sort of thing. So the movie is kind of weird in that aspect. It both acts as if it is it's standalone own thing, and as if it's continuing on Firefly. But it feels like it's just wrapping up on season 5, and it feels so natural, but you're obviously well aware that those series never happened.
  11. Went a bit OT at the end there I certainly wouldn't get a dog, far too much hard work (that and my fear of dogs). A cat I'll get, but that's like a later in life thing. I'm gonna get fish. Had a cat fanatic in first year. She had a few cats back home. Ended up getting one for uni in 2nd year (despite landlord rules, but I tended to look after for those periods) She was really good with them though. Made sure they were jabbed n all that. About only thing close to not looking after properly was she'd make him hats to wear. And one xmas he had little gloves, which did lead to hilarious results in the kitchen.
  12. http://board.pressxordie.com/user/184-maritan/ Maybe... (I'm pretty sure that there he's trolling, I think he posted it on here actually)
  13. I'ts not that the second has a huge drop in quality, just that the first does the majoirty of the story n character development. The second one starts and you have no effing idea who any of these people are or what they're doing. It's like starting from the middle of a book. Also lol at "version of space we get where everything's clean and shiny". Everything on Firefly is shiny The Alliance planets/ Central planets are clean n such. It's kind of like Star Wars, where tattoine on the edge has shady bars n mob bosses, then courscant in the middle is glowing sky scrapers. Just Firefly only once in the series, and a short while in the movie pop into the central planets. But yeah, it's written as a western. Then set in space. There's very little that's very sci-fi. No space lasers n teleporters n warp drives. It's bar brawls, territorial disputes, trains, plagues and gun slinging.
  14. Well first I' go for myself. I'd much rather play a game and figure it out myself, I know my tastes well, we match up. second it's mates opinions n such Then like Ethan, and as mentioned in the GT thread, I'm quite keen on GT's video reviews, because while the review may be garbage and the score useless it does show you what the game is like, much better explaining the various pros n cons of it. Then RPS Wot I Think, but that's because the more niche games only tend to be covered by then, and they're funny. So not so much for the review, but the lulz.
  15. I'm not currently eating them, maybe tonight, depends. But I strongly recommend if there's one English food/meal you have a crack at: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yorkshire_pudding
  16. that feel is....have you ever read the back of a CRT? has a ton of stickers. I suggest you look. Then you know what that "feel" on an really old monitor is
  17. tbh I think it's more so that this place is affiliated with me. And they don't like me or anything I do. So I think gamerfeed n your BF3 news site should be fine. But I guess folks can test the water, post one post with one link in, then post another to here or steam group. Then maybe one with a mix of both. See what happens
  18. Just thrown up a couple events (for EU n NA) for MNC on...Monday. I'm gonna try to be the head dude for EU, but could do with someone up for being head dude for the NA event.
  19. Yeah that'd be because you played for 8hrs straight If you had similar results after a couple hours then get a bit worried.

Wouldn't that void the warranty? I've got a 28" TV/.monitor as my main screen, it's a very nice size. I'd never go bigger though. Housemate has a 32", only 4" more, but a world of difference in PC use. Good for when he watches films though. But that's a fraction of PC use.

Yeah our network did not play nice with the mac studio. Sometimes you'd boot up the PC and your programs wouldn't be there (due to it not connecting to the license server) or you home file would be missing. Or the teachers server wouldn't be playing nice with it. Very rarely would all three align.

Yeah I had to refresh a couple times before it let me use it. Shame on the choice of game, I didn't sitck around to play it long, but it ran fine enough.

The hell? It runs on Java?

  24. Yeah the one I posted is the German version on the old PS3 boxes, so you've got a English one (you can tell cos it's got the BBFC rating and I guess the Royal Mail thing too) in the new style. Not as terrible, but still pretty bad.
  25. Yeah, it was his number plate. It's not one I'd stick on to watch again casually, but I'd certainly spread the word on it.
