While not exactly the same, from my understanding the recent jailbreak law thing said that as a consumer you're free to jailbreak your phone. But you are not still free to reverse engineer or bypass an DRM n such systems. I'd imagine it's similar here. You're cool to do what you want to your device. But engineering the method of bypassing the security systems n such is still a big no-no.

I dislike the UI. Upgrading skills is more fiddly than it needs to be and the whole look of it just looks like they were trying to map an App or something. High Fantasy games should have a high fantasy aesthetic. Same as you load up a sci-fi RPG you don't expect wood carving UI n swirly magical particle effects stuff.

Just to add to a previous post in this thread: UDK royalty cap increased from $5,000 to $50,000. You keep your games income under $50,000 and you get to keep every cent (go over and 25% goes to Epic. Which may sound much, but Apple charge 30%)
