They did. Vanguard is getting a new move of its own, but it's not a heavy melee. The heavy melee move still hasn't been revealed for the class yet.

http://store.steampowered.com/news/6906/ Skyrim is getting Steam Workshop support. Apparently folks will be able to submit, browse, rate, and download mods for Skyrim through Steam. Sounds interesting.

Soldier gets omniblade, Adept gets the push, and Engineer gets a fiery backhand. Sentinel, Vanguard, and Infiltrator are unknown.

New BioWare Pulse video came out earlier, showed off some things we haven't seen before. Namely: -Shepard will be able to equip a flashlight to his/her weapons -Vanguard gets a new move called Nova. Completely uses up your shield, but causes a powerful AOE blastwave around you that knocks back enemies -Engineers can deploy sentry turrets which are visible through walls -All heavy melee moves will vary in more ways than just appearance. Engineer heavy melee is high-damage but low-force and is purely fire damage based, whereas the Adept heavy melee is low-damage but high-force and can send enemies through the air

Played through a flashpoint with the GF earlier. For those who don't know, flashpoints are basically the equivalent of WoW's instances. Except flashpoints are fun. Very fun, in fact. I had the stupidest grin on my face the entire time I played through one.

I got into the beta as well, and there's more than just one server. It's just that they're ALL FULL. Other than that, I've been pleased with the game so far. The voiced conversations and dialogue choices work surprisingly well.

Yeah. I've maybe being racking my brain for other examples, was gonna write a piece regarding the "professional" nature of indies. But only Zomboid n CliffyB popped into my mind.

For anyone still following the Notch/Yogscast fiasco, Notch has since apologized on his twitter for the "ugly public airing of dirty laundry" and retweeted a response directed at both himself and the Yogscast that essentially said "What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas, go apologize". Yogscast is apparently working on a response that won't be influenced by jetlag.

THE PLOT THICKENS. Someone attempted to impersonate the Yogscast in the Desert Bus chatroom and bad-mouthed the whole thing. Yogscast was quick to refute such a thing and made a donation to Desert Bus in return.

Apple Bloom's voice actress/Sweetie Belle's singing voice actress got interviewed. Apparently we're getting a little treat after the brief song drought in season 2. Lots of songs apparently coming up in seasons 2 and 3.

ME3 Collector's Edition will apparently have a bonus squad mate and mission, in addition to all the other stuff you get out of it. So yeah, well worth the extra 20 bucks or so. EDIT: Have a fancy ME3 Collector's Edition video.

The only shouts I've actually spent souls on has been Whirlwind Sprint, Frost Breath, and Fire Breath. Dragonrend is incredibly useful, but you just get that from the main quest (and with zero souls needed).

The studio doing it already explained why they're not doing season box sets - yet. Bronies are a big demographic, but not the biggest and certainly not the intended target audience. As a result, they're only releasing DVDs with a handful of episodes on them because parents are more likely to buy them. If we want season box sets, we basically have to buy the DVDs they have now to show that there's a market for the box sets. Also, new episode tomorrow.

The guards did nothing to stop it in Whiterun, because I'm a thane there. I've only seen it happen once, but it was funny when it did.

Used the whirlwind sprint shout earlier while messing around in Whiterun. One of the guards started yelling about how the legends were true, and he ran away. Man, that was fun.

Yeah, that's been my girlfriend's biggest gripe about Skyrim so far. Everything scaled with you in Oblivion, but everything has a set level in each region in Skyrim. In Oblivion, no matter where you went, it would match your level. In Skyrim, you could wander into a cave and encounter something hilariously weak, something just right for you, or something that's going to absolutely murder you.

Season 3 is already in production, for anyone who cares. I knew it was renewed for a third season, but I didn't know they already started work on it. Basically, Tara Strong stopped by the NSFW Show and mentioned it in the IRC.
