I'm surprised at how fluidly the dragon moves. As of now, the dragons are basically invincible to anything, but Notch has said he'll change that by adding dragons you can kill to the main world (they'll be red). Notch is also changing the sun and moon to actually be round. In addition, there's gonna be lunar cycles too.

So, I did get Dead Island. My only issue is my resolution is locked at 1360x768 - I normally play at 1920x1080. No matter how many times I edit Video.scr or update my drivers, I simply cannot move the resolution beyond 1360x768. WHAT DO?

Also worth noting that Apple put a huge dent in the mobile gaming market, a market that Nintendo used to have an absolute stranglehold on. Forget about Sony entirely. I don't think they'll ever be able to compete with the likes of Apple and Nintendo at this point. -
As stated in the video, co-op missions will take place in the same places that you'll be going to in singleplayer anyways. Like singleplayer, success in co-op will contribute to your singleplayer ending IF YOU WANT IT TO. They've repeatedly stressed that the co-op is entirely optional.

Yeah, they know that folks absolutely hated the mining game. Also, touching on your earlier post Dean, they've repeatedly said that the co-op will be entirely optional, and will have zero effect on your singleplayer ending unless you want it to.

Honestly, I'd much rather play co-op for minerals than have to mine to get them.

The part you're referring to is actually something completely separate from the co-op, and will be called Galaxy at War. From what I understand of it, it will be completely optional. EDIT: Reread it. I bolded the important bits for ya.

Personally, I doubt they'll use Origin. It's worth remembering that Bioware already has their own network (social.bioware.com) and they required players to login to it when playing ME2.

Gonna stop checking the comments about the ME3 multiplayer on GI and Escapist. People are severely over-reacting to this, and it's causing me to be both amused and infuriated.

Ah, well, that is interesting. I like co-op, but it all really matters how its implemented and how fun it is when its working. I hope for the best. Not every game needs multi-player, but if it can make a game better with out any negative side-effects, than I'm all for it!

Using Rage as my example once more, the racing in that game truly does feel tacked on because it doesn't really have anything at all to do with the actual story. It's just sorta... there. In Portal 2's case, the coop adds additional info to the singleplayer story. It's too early to tell what the ME3 coop might be like, though.

WW wins my vote, hands down. Everything just felt more vibrant and "alive" - certainly helped that the characters were extremely expressive too. -
Miranda was the only one that felt truly "required" because of how useful her skillset was. The last slot was basically "whoever you want". Also, missed this earlier. This has likely been in development for months now. You can hardly call that "tacked on". Rage multiplayer, though... that seems tacked on.

The squad AI is notoriously derpy. On hardcore and insanity, they're basically just there to distract things while you do the work. I know the coop will be separate from SP, but I'm looking forward to having someone intelligent with me.

It's separate, and from what I understand from Casey Hudson's previous tweets, the singleplayer has actually been done for a while now. They're still doing playtesting and such in order to tweak it, but for the most part, it's done. Multiplayer shouldn't have any impact on the quality of it, if that's the case. Besides, if they release it as an expansion, fans will say it's a cop-out - release it as a full game, and fans may say it's not worth the price. Portal 2 is fairly character driven, and they pulled off coop in that just fine. EDIT: What a shocker. I check GameInformer and Escapist Magazine, and people are acting like this news is the end of the world. BIOWARE IS RUINED FOREVER NOOOOO. Shut up. Just shut up. They know what they did wrong. I didn't realize the developers weren't allowed to try anything different either.

The tweet from Casey Hudson (the executive producer of the ME series) was more positive. Honestly, I'm very excited over this. I've always loved coop anything, so put coop in one of my favorite game series, and I'm gonna adore it.

I'll be honest, coop ME3 would be fucking awesome. Usually because the squad AI is dumb as hell anyways.
