I always found the guns incredibly useful. Especially the shotgun + throw ability.
-
Thanks anyway. Probably for the best since I have $3 in Steam credit to spend.

I don't suppose there's one for Dust: Furry Adventures?
-
I literally hurt my eyes watching that.

Faster Than Light A great, roguish space exploration and battle game that restores a bit of faith in the currently overpraised indie market. It's thoroughly entertaining, and leaves you to your own enterprises (which also means you have to take responsibility for stupid decisions). Currently, the USS Enterplease is on Mk5, and the first launch of the Voyeurger got me to the final boss before dying. Space fires are an awful thing. There's a bit of humor in failure to be had in many crew deaths. Fallout New Vegas: Ultimate Edition Just started. My main skills are guns, melee and science. I don't usually do melee (typically more of a clandestine class), but I figured I'd give it a go. Indiscriminately chopping limbs off is nice. I did die to a pack of giant radscorpions, though. Guild Wars 2 I'm currently working on completing all the jumping puzzles. They're an excellent part of what has already become the most well-designed, thoroughly rewarding and refreshing MMORPG I've ever played—and I've tried my hand at quite a few. While it does has its pitfalls (namely in the limitations of combat skills and race abilities due to a hidebound devotion to balancing), it breaks the typical MMORPG mold in so many welcome ways that I don't think I see myself playing another until the rest of the genre plays catch-up. Civilization V Been playing it since I bought the Gold upgrade for Gods and Kings. Stomped Greece as Persia. Spread Zoroastrianism as what has now become the world's main religion. -
Weeds grow unruly. You get roaches. I still play fairly regularly. Mostly to do a round of fishing and check what's new. I wish there were some JRPGs I felt like playing. : \

Anyone have any Rococo furniture they're willing to sell/trade? Since you can just buy extra copies at the store.

FTL (Fuck the Light for Ethan) is so addictive. I keep closing it and re-opening it immediately after.
-
It has some potential in the mystery of the Titans. It has some decent action scenes. But that all tends to get caught up in your typical shounen pitfalls unfortunately.
-
Picked up Fallout New Vegas Ultimate Edition for $2.91 with my trading card credit. I'll keep an eye on Kingdoms of Amalamadingdong to see if it gets a significant drop.
-
Yeah, your choices had a small, usually local influence on the story.
-
Were you that impressed by the game, Ethan? I've seen your tweets about it. I only played the demo (and didn't like what that represented), but I know that demos don't always paint the best picture of a game.

I do have empathy, Ethan. I've been in the same situation, and I understand that spoilers suck (I try to avoid spoiling things for other people). The difference is that I didn't write an article about how woefully slighted I am by classism and the industry. Edit: And personally, I try to avoid spreading spoilers for anything, or only doing so when using a spoiler tag or warning is an option. It doesn't matter how old it is.

Well, it is. Everybody's a victim. Boo-hoo. At some point someone just has to be like, "No, fuck you and the horse you claim you couldn't ride in on."

What a load of shit.

I already bought it through Steam. x: -
I'm not sure if my knowledge on physician assistants is entirely correct, but are they, like, non-doctors that practice medicine on a basic level?
-
Well, I can think of several nations where socialized medicine is on par or better than what the States have. And I can think of a few where it's far less expensive and on par. It's just the nature of the beast. The States aren't the best at many things.

Someone gifted me the Sonic Franchise Collection or whatever its proper name is.

W&S's status about there not being games he'd like on PC made me think about what is available on PC that you or I may not know about. I still see games on Steam that I've never heard of. Just yesterday Mars appeared on the front page. What is that, a candy bar? A celestial body? Wahraam? Cherry Tree High Comedy Club: Oh, I've already visited this one. $3.99 Mark of the Ninja: On one hand, it's possible that you all know what Mark of the Ninja is. On the other, it's possible that one of you do not, and that is grievous. It's easily the best stealth in a video game since Thief. $7.49 Chantelise: An action JRPG by the folk behind Recettear. I probably enjoyed it much more than I should have. $2.49 Half-Minute Hero: You basically have 30 seconds to finish a traditional JRPG. It's handled favorably, I'd say. I don't think you can jerk the juice out of the genre much more distilled than this. $2.49

Ouch. My left lung has collapsed (partially) twice now. It was a spontaneous pneumothorax, so they apparently can't really pinpoint the cause. And thanks to the obscene cost of health care in the States (not that I'd expect it to be free, just not an extreme effort in ripping me off) I haven't really been checked out in too long. I do still have trouble breathing or taking full breaths at times, but nothing as serious as before. Supposedly.

About 175 hours into Guild Wars 2. Hit level 80 some time ago. Still a great deal of enjoyable content to experience. And they have bi-weekly event updates thanks to their "living world" approach to content. Hefty updates with new areas, mini-games and such, too. Latest had the Bazaar of the Winds, a drinking game, scavenger hunts, powers suited for advanced world exploration and a Mario Kart-type racing game. Just got the "Omnomnivore" title for my achievements in Outstanding Booze Swillery and Belching Mechanics. -
