Guess it's about time to assess the damage from the Steam Summer Sale. Bought: Was Gifted: Thankfully I already own most of what I want. Rogue Legacy didn't get a real sale, so had to pass on that.

Guild Wars 2. Recorded some footage of an undead dragon world boss. Not the best due to framerate drops and shitty North American bandwidth. -
I've enjoyed what I played of the game. Do you want a polished action-style space shooter that transitions (in hops and skips) to mech suit and back? Then get it. Also it has a theme song by fucking Kokia.

I purposefully grow my hybrids randomly. Like a real man. Just like 1/6th of my town is a huge field of flowers and I just let them go at it. Got a black everything already. :V

I think it'd be nice if they let you choose one game each month from games that released, say, a year earlier. Or whenever it is that games sales tend to really drop. But I don't know that it'd be viable either legally or monetarily.

I don't think it's a problem at all (paywall notwithstanding). I like that it's currently entirely optional. Options are good, welcome. And as far as quality is concerned I didn't mean to imply that there aren't or weren't quality games being discounted or free through the service, just that there aren't many that appeal to me. So if it continued to the PS4 in its current state it would be something closer to a paywall that may occasionally have something I'm interested in.

It's only value in the sense of deals if they give you games or discounts on games that you would have wanted to play without them being free to begin with. The rest is mostly negligible. It's cool that people like it and get something out of it, but as far as I'm concerned it's a waste of money. And regardless of how you look at it, it's a paywall.

I'm not sure which mask I used. Well, I'm not sure of the name of it. Whichever makes thrown items deadly. I generally stuck with that one.

My grandfather used to carp over how my video games and Magic: the Gathering cards were the devil's work. Otherwise, he was a good grandfather, but yeah.

I think some people are forgetting this is (was) a court case about alleged murder, not a social case or venue of social reform. It's an issue of law. If anything, we should be lamenting the (possible) inadequacy of the system of the law. On one hand you have brown- and black-skinned people who are flailing their arms over how their bodies are now inherently unsafe in the United States. That it's now legal to shoot black teens or something. On the other, you have the white-skinned crew who see Zimmerman's freedom as a victory. Both are equally deluded. Really, the whole issue of race (on both sides) in the States is frustrating, and I wish I could move farther away.
