Maybe it was because I was playing a dexterity-pumped thief. I didn't realize until later the near uselessness of dexterity. Who'd have known that thieves don't favor dexterity? Funny, that. : \ I didn't feel like starting over.

I guess knights in the Souls games all have butterfingers. Anyway, I'm going to try Demon's Souls again thanks to of Dark Souls. I suppose I should try to get my $80 out of it.

Well, in the first game I had the issue of doing that properly but being killed in one hit. So one little mistake and you're a goner. That, patient as you want to be, gets old fast. Especially so when you're losing souls because of it. Though I hear the souls mechanic works different in this game?

But I can't learn to like grinding/difficulty any more than I can learn to like NASCAR.

I picked up the Prototype deal yesterday. I don't think I've ever played a game with so many escort/defend this objective missions. Jesus.

Is this any easier than the first game? I never finished it as I was pretty much screwed as a "thief" class. I could fall from high places, though!

Did you still buy the clothes? I wish there were a Black Friday in Canada. I don't like going to stores, but there are some great on-line deals. Unfortunately, either most retailers in the States do not ship to Canada or the cost of shipping outweighs the savings.

I'm on the final boss in Mugen Souls, but I think I may just give up. There's this asinine game mechanic that keeps killing me in one hit. My own ability.

Now that the election is over, I can say things to people without expecting such emotionally-charged responses. Hooray. I don't see how people think voting for a president, a person who'll lead one of the most powerful nations on the planet, based on personal social issues that don't necessarily reflect the person's ability to lead at all is a good idea.

Is that a video from Transnistria? The ribbon she's wearing is red and green, and it seems to be the only country that speaks Russian with (only) those colors in its flag.

Mmm . . . I'm sure moe plays a factor in the show, but I'm not too familiar with the whole concept of moeblobness. I can't get into shows like K-On, Yuru Yuri or Hidamari Sketch if that helps. So I need a slight more than just the moe. I'm pretty bad at suggesting anime if I don't already know it's widely appreciated, though. Anyway, there's this thing called "8th Grade Syndrome" which basically encompasses the whole fantastical day-dreaming of an eight-grader. The show captures that by pairing some guy who's trying to escape his prior year's syndrome by joining a new secondary school with some girl who's still caught up in hers. She makes everything part of her magical world (though it actually isn't), and often acts accordingly. It's all very silly.

More Chuunibyou Demo Koi ga Shitai. It's good stuff.

Actually, I'm curious about that. There are tons of adult games that are translated by legitimate companies (JAST USA, for example) which don't receive ESRB ratings. They do have an "Adults Only" warning, but it isn't issued by the ESRB. How does that work?

You would think so, FDS, but I'm not entirely sure. I know some of the issue was due to development costs with respect to smaller studios. That's why many have went to PSP or stuck with PS2 for some time.

The system can have 64GB of RAM and I won't care if it doesn't have a toothsome library. Hopefully they'll have more launch and (year or two) post-launch support. It took a while for the PS3 to even have enough games to warrant a purchase.

I really wish I could stomach these games. This looks great.

Basically what Ethan said. I couldn't care less what works on a tablet or other touch screen device.
