At some sushi shop.

Hmm . . . this is going to be difficult. Very rarely do I anticipate games. If we were to perhaps lower the bar to "games you'd consider buying upon release", mine would be something like: Atelier Ayesha - Alchemist of the Sunset Lands (Actually, I would generally most certainly buy this at release. Unfortunately, TK is handling it, so it could either not come to the States or the UK release could have horrible dubs only.) Project Eternity Cyberpunk Bioshock Infinite Metro: Last Light

Gaming Tropes That Need to GO
Saturnine Tenshi replied to Mister Jack's topic in General Gaming Chat
I'm all right with random encounters. But yeah, I do prefer to have visible field monsters. The option of avoidance is always great, especially if I'm there on some side-quest and not looking for a fight. It's even worse if you're in a dungeon with random encounters trying to negotiate a puzzle or maze. Those are horrible. -
I only recognized RDJ and FPS Russia Guy. It was neat, anyhow. If only the games were.

Haha. Thanks, HH. I plan on playing through the game again on PC for streaming purposes, and I think I might try doing one of these:
-
God, I enjoyed Eureka 7, but shounen-type protags piss me off somethin' fierce.
-
I feel like there might have been. It seems my last wherein I just killed everything willy nilly (Mostly Man and Machine path) had more weepers than any of my other approaches.
-
Girls with Panzer looks neat, Malicious. I'm not sure what I'm "watching" as I haven't been actively watching anime properly due to being extremely busy, but I have watched the following recently: Chuunibyou Demo Koi ga Shitai! Denpa Onna to Seishun Otoko Tamayura hitotose Added Princess Tutu to the queue because Cyber suggested it.
-
Also keep in mind the lightning bolts don't count as being detected. It's only when they turn red and "break" that you've been spotted.
-
I'm not really certain how chaos is measured. A quick search yielded this PC Gamer article.

BUT HIGHER NUMBERS!

Finished Dishonored and got the platinum!
-
Oversight on their part, I'd hope. But that's all in the past now. It feels good to have that behind me. I'm so close to doing Emily justice. She's waiting for this one final trophy! I got to the point in the later levels where, after having beaten them so many times, I would just rush through with blink and bend time rank 2 like some temporal badass. Edit: The Dishonored Tumblr posted the remaining Sokolov paintings today. I think this is all or most of them: I wish there were one of Emily. She deserves a Sokolov painting.

6624 got Ryu'd. Sorry, 66. Dudley is totally a cooler character.
-
So . . . it was because I killed a dog in Mission 6. A dog. A dirty, stupid, mangy, nonhuman dog. Now only one more play through remains for that "Mostly Flesh and Steel" trophy then I'll have the platinum.
-
Hmm . . . I've read about people doing as I have and still getting the trophy, but it just doesn't seem to work for me: stop time, grab the key, get the hell out of there (blink your ass off). But yeah, seems I'm going to have to start over. Only missing three non-platinum trophies, too.
-
Only I got the trophy for not being spotted. >: The trophies that didn't unlock were those for not killing anyone (though all my missions say I killed no one). The glitch threads all mention Granny Rags, and I've tried it twice since, but I cannot seem to get it to acknowledge the trophy.
-
I just finished the same run, Ethan, and apparently something with Granny Rags ruined the trophies for me even though I didn't attack her.
-
For me, it's more an issue of those peripheral conversations where you'll hear NPCs going on from afar or amid the din of background noise.
-
Yeah, I have subtitles turned on for that reason. I have such trouble actually hearing what NPCs are saying in most games.
-
Regarding the second bullet point: 1. It's a stealth game (if you want it to be), so I totally get that it's an issue there. 2. I like that I can hear these things, as they're often only spoken once. Also: where the hell is the Emily concept art? It's on my tarot cards and several trophies, but I cannot find it online. >:
-
I'm doing that next (on my low chaos run). Though I'm also going to need to do a third run for the no upgrades trophy. I thought of doing that on the low chaos run, but I didn't want to make it that difficult. >.>
-
Thanks! I decided to kill him since I've only finished the high chaos route (and wouldn't be doing so on the low chaos route). I guess that was on the audiograph I missed thanks to the decision.

Does the game ever explain how the rat plague began, or where it originated? There were some hints that led me to believe . . .
