This. People make a big deal about "choice" and "morality" in games, but really, The Witcher 2 is the only game to get it right. Your actions have consequences, but it's never the "save orphanage or light a box of puppies on fire" polarity. What happens is what happens, and it's up to the player to decide whether they chose poorly or correctly.

I have three old phones just put away in the back of a cupboard. Though only one is somewhat usable by modern standards. (Tocco lite)

Well, the good news is my parents found one from their drawers, and will be sending it to me. Takes my phoneless time from a few weeks to a few days, and then it'll be time for my upgrade when I go back home.

Cabin in the Woods was a fun movie, but I don't get why everyone talked up the twists as "mind-blowing". Maybe I've seen too many horror films, but I felt like I was always one step ahead of the movie.

We had a tornado last night. There's supposed to be another, much bigger one, tonight. There are plenty of reasons I want to get out of Oklahoma, but in terms of shit I'm actually scared of, the tornadoes take the cake. Nature is garbage.

Nice. I just read about libraries complaining they had to pay 2-3x as much as consumers for each book, and before that, about Apple's 30% commission. Might've gotten away with it if they weren't so brash.

Oh yeah, Ann Coulter is particularly mad. She's so mad that even Fox News tries to not bring her on as often as they used to. When your typical appearance includes such winning quotes as "Our blacks are better than their blacks", you essentially turn into PR's worst nightmare. I wonder if she even has a PR agent. I think she and Bill O' Riley (I actually respect Bill O' Riley a bit, to be honest. He may be bull-headed and arrogant, but he'll often stand up for important things even when the rest of the channel stands against him) are constantly at each other's throats whenever they're within 50 feet.

Konami's done much worse. They fucked up SH HD, they essentially kill all their games by not marketing them, and by putting them up against heavy-hitters, their conferences are the worst shit ever, and their DLC is much, MUCH worse than any of the other companies, save for maybe Zynga and Squeenix. -
The PS3 just got Amazon Instant Video! Fuck yes, now my Prime videos are available on my console! I'll use this to watch Hitchcock's "Strangers on a Train".
