wii u is N, so it won't be lower than that. Maybe ac, but I don't think most people have that so if it's that much pricier to implement I don't think they'll have any qualms leaving it out.

I always wanted to play Meteos, but never could find it for sale. I own Henry Hatsworth but haven't played it (yet?). I think I could never buy a game again and still have a lifetime's entertainment sat on my shelves.
-
Wasn't the Wii U a completely different architecture though, and the Switch won't have enough power to emulate it. I think the best you can hope for is remakes that are cheaper than original games. Plus, already:

Half price on Wii U, which surprisingly is supposed to be the best version.

Am I being optimistic or does that make it sound more like it's based off a tegra 2 than tegra 1? Either way, It's a step up from the Wii U and I don't buy Nintendo hardware for the specs, but it would be nice to have a more efficient processor in there. @Dean: Won't the basket ball game have been EA? If they're back on board that can only be a good sign as they are the only ones that actually came across as not wanting to work with nintendo, rather than just not wanting to waste money on extra development for underpowered consoles (and low install base in case of Wii U) which I think was most developers issues. To me, I am pleased. Once the general concept was leaked, this is about as good as I could have imagined it. I like that it looked like you could just pull the console straight out of the base and carry on, rather than having to prepare it for removal (e.g. go back to home menu and "eject" it, then reload the game). It looked seamless. I wonder which bits you actually get with it. There seemed to be a base unit, a screen, a controller base that the screen attaches to, and the "pro controller". Hopefully they do something akin to the premium Wii U where you'd get the standalone controller and a game bundled in, and a cheaper version without to tempt more people. Things I'm wondering about now (apart from price) are, after reading FMW's post, I hope the region-free rumours are true,. Games linked to your account (hopefully you'll be able to play your virtual console games you've already bought (several times) on there without having to play again. And where I'll put it, my consoles go on a shelf under the TV so there will be no room there to pull the console out of the base. Also, they've called it their new home console, I wonder what that means for the 3DS and any future successors? Maybe they'll keep producing a budget portable line, download/virtual console only. Maybe it means they'll keep on the 3DS for a few more years and then that will be them done with handhelds - seems weird though if they go down to one format does that mean all future consoles from nintendo will have to be hybrid? Also, this is where the Facebook link goes from the Switch teaser on Nintendo UK's official youtube channel...

There's a free Sun and Moon Special Demo version available now for download. UK. US.

I bought Chase: Cold Case Investigations - Distant Memories. It's by a lot of the people from CiNG, so I'm looking forward to it. I bought is using a 20% off gold coin voucher from My Nintendo. It's the first time I've used one and it worked really well, surprisingly. Still got a lot of coins to spend and vaguely hoping for the promised physical items to return. Not holding my breath though.

I'm now the proud owner of Oceanhorn, which was not cheap but since I was going to lose the money and their wasn't anything else I wanted. Who knows I'm only losing £1.80 now. Not sure I can actually get anything with that amount of money.

And I've got to buy more stuff I had no intention of getting too. MS website says it uses promotional balances first, but it's taking money from me in the order it was applied to my account so I have to spend ALL the money in my account (including the stuff that has no expiry date) to not lose my money that's expiring in 2 days. Chat help confirmed that their site says it uses promo balances first, but that there systems take the money in the order it was applied but would not/could not do anything about it. I feel like it should be illegal to me as they're not following the system they're advertising. Either way I'm pretty miffed. Had problems with them before when they wouldn't use the money in my account because I didn't have a credit card linked to my account. The whole reason I bought the voucher was because I didn't want to link my CC info to the account. Couldn't do anything about that either. Bloody knobheads, they are. Thinking of getting oceanhorn with some of the rest of the money. I was just about getting over the fact it's such a blatant rip-off of Zelda (Wind Waker mostly), but then I saw they're bringing out a sequel and their new weapon bears a striking resemblance to the arrows from the Zelda Wii U teaser trailer and it's pissed me off all over again Probably going to have to get over it as I need to spend the money

Ubisoft has recently reconfirmed they're working on BG&E 2 - hence my comment. The sarcastic tone was because they have come close to smothering my hope for the game by this point.
-
To get us excited got the sequel which is no doubt right around the corner now. At least we know it is officially being worked on (again).

When will you wear it apart from in the house? Or was it just your Yorkshire soul calling out for one.

Games where you have to chase down and catch enemies but they run the same speed as you so you're just chasing them for ages hoping the AI messes up.

What are you listening to now?
TheFlyingGerbil replied to Chronixal's topic in Entertainment Exchange
this free album of nintendo remixes. It's good, a mix of styles, but not electronic as you'd expect. You can stream it or download it free. -
Looks quite interesting. By a comedian so it will be interesting how it turns out - timing is important for both genres so it could be good.

The watershed is 9pm, before that it's assumed children may watch a programme and sex/violence/language should be suitable. After 9 things can get more adult oriented. The reason it's called the watershed is it's the dividing line between child and adult content, as the watershed is the line between two water basins. I would use the word muppet, and wouldn't be surprised to hear it, but it's not that common up here, I think of it more as an east end of london type of thing and can be quite aggressive to me

That's what I thought too, but when Miyamoto created Mario, he said he didn't want to put any restrictions on him, and apart from deciding he is 24-25, they didn't fix anything else down. In a Smash Bros Trophy description, it says he is 26, so either way, he's a lot younger than I'm guessing most people think.
-
I just found out how old Mario is. Not what I thought. How old do you all think he is?
-
the one I was looking at was 1tb, and I'm guessing was from around the time Starwars was released since that was a pack-in. It was the "C chassis" which i think is the latest one before the slim. too late now anyway. Probably for the best though, saved myself some money at least.

Bum flaps, I didn't realise it was one day only. Sure they'll be back on at some point, there will still be stock about that retailers want to get rid of.

So US tap water is to you what Mexican tap water is to us. Joke's on you though, cause most bottled water is just tap water from wherever the bottling plant happens to be, with no extra treatment applied. Why are people happy with that? If it's just tap water, why wouldn't you just fill a bottle at home yourself, for (practically) free. At least if you're paying for spring water, you can tell yourself its something different. Nearly all the bottled water in the UK is spring water, but I've noticed prices for most (not the premium brands) have plummeted They tried tap water in the UK with Dasani, which they actually did process further (something to do with osmosis?). It was blown into a national outrage, in all the papers etc. and put pay to that becoming a trend. edit: i don't know why i quoted that about half a dozen times?

Hmm, since I was unimpressed with the Pro, a PS4 1TB Console, LEGO Star Wars Game and Star Wars Force Awakens Blu-Ray for £150 seems tempting. What to do, what to do... I feel like I got the consoles the wrong way around - should have bought the PS4 at launch and the Scorpio when it comes out. At the moment I don't think I'll have either of the .5 upgrades.

I recently read an article which seemed to be in earnest but really read like satire. It was by an American traveling Europe who came upon the discovery that instead of just eating cheese on bread we in Europe eat... cheese on buttered bread. This genuinely seemed a life changing revelation to the writer - who was waxing lyrical about the creamy, salty addition perfectly complements the cheeses. This is specifically in reference to appreciating a good cheese primarily, And the tasty, crusty bread too and not just for a quick cheese sandwich etc. Is it really that surprising to butter bread to be eaten with cheese? Yes, it is substantially nicer but the way the writer was going on about it, it was like it was such an outlandish idea to even try it, like bread and butter don't classically go together. So weird.

It's all rather lovely until link shows up but it got me thinking, if Nintendo did decide to do something with the franchise, would you rather a film or a TV series, and would you rather live action or animation?
