Story-wise, the very last scene with zelda was literally the perfect setup to continue the exploration of the world, and they could have based Zelda in one of the research labs so they wouldn't have even had to remodel Hyrule Castle. 99% of the NPC dialogue would still make sense, it would be so little work. It has to be a decision they made and I wonder if they've ever discussed the topic publically.

I've defeated Ganon (or technically, beat him down to the point where Zelda could seal him away) in Breath of The Wild, after playing for "115 hours or more". Strange thing is I took my time between Divine Beasts, but when I finished the last one (fire lizard for me) I felt the story pushed me forward to Ganon and I did get swept along with it and headed straight to Impa, then the castle. It was as good as I hoped it would be, and more. I'm going to carry on for a bit looking for shrines, etc. but not going to attempt 100% (I finished at 32.17). One thing that makes me less keen to stay in there is that it takes you back to the game before you defeat Ganon, so there's no post game exploration as such which is my only real complaint, though it's something they've always done in Zelda games if I recall correctly. I hoped it would be different this time, since they'd made so many other changes to the formula.

This is the best thing ever that I've been listening to on a loop for far too long. I cannot find out what it is though and it is making me sad as I want more of it in my life. -
Why not make a simple syrup for the sugar? That way the sugar's already dissolved so you only need to stir it in to the drink/give it a quick shake. It's easy to do and you can make it in batches so it's always on hand. If you don't want to water your drink down to much you can double the sugar to water ratio to 2:1 so you'll be diluting less for a given level of sweetness, with the added advantages that it will keep longer, and store in half the space.

That seems like a lot of effort to me. I'd either be happy knowing in my heart that I like games, or maybe if you want a physical manifestation of that buy a figurine from each of your favourite games/franchises.

Ooh, dark cloud's in there - someone recommended it ages ago as I like Zelda, but it wasn't on PSN at the time and I forgot about it until I saw it just now. Looks like it's just upscaled rather than remastered so I hope it doesn't look too awful.

Has anyone tried a liquid screen protector? I've never had much/any luck with the stick-on type but the liquid sounds too good to be true.

I worked out what I was doing wrong on that tower. I came in through the ruins so had an extra couple of guardians firing at me. When I went back to it I came from the other side and it was just the two stuck in the ground so I got up without a hitch. Yay. I do think they can detect you from a bit too far away though. Several times I've thought I'd be well out of their range only to suddenly have a red laser trained on me.

I agree with the rain, it can get frustrating. Has anyone climbed the central tower yet? I kept getting blasted off and gave up. Have to admit being a bit cheaty and quitting out of the game so I could pretend that didn't happen.

I've tried original Zelda a few times and die before I find anywhere interesting then you just get dumped back at the start to try/fail again. Too frustrating for me. I need to have another go at it with a guide by my side.

Had anyone here played world of final fantasy? Listening to gayme bar podcast talk about it and it sounds tempting. edit: They finished by saying if you don't have an encyclopaedic knowledge of Final Fantasy it's going to be pointless. I've downloaded the so will give that a go. tbh, I kind of forget demos still exist.
