Wait, when was that?

Would anyone be interested in trading for a Fed Fightin' Fedora? I opened a couple of crates and against all odds ended up with the same hat both times.

You know what, screw what I said before. They SHOULD show you which pokemon are in which encounter because walking back and forth in a patch of frickin grass for an hour in hopes of getting that one specific type you need isn't fun.

The word "noob". Every time I see it I just wanna smack the guy who said it right in the mouth. ETHAN.

If I'm not mistaken, Pokemon encounters are only in tall grass and caves, right? Tall grass is avoidable as far as I recall so that's okay, but in caves they should at least use a generic icon. They don't have to give the species away, but just use some kind of wandering sprite to indicate that there's a Pokemon there so you can either fight it or avoid it.

Back attacks in turn-based RPGs, especially if the game is designed to be hard to begin with. I'm fine with a challenge, but tell me what is fair about a group of enemies randomly getting free turns on me and then using their most powerful attacks to wipe me out before I even get a chance to defend myself? Screw you, Persona. *Edit*: If enemies are visible during exploration and back attacks depend on which side surprises the other, I'm fine with that. It's when the game utilizes random encounters that this becomes infuriating. In fact, random encounters should be completely abolished too. For the most part I don't see too many RPGs that still use them, but they do exist.

Maybe you just aren't imagining a hot enough guy.

That tank mission is probably the hardest one in the whole game, so the good news is that once you finish it the rest is mostly downhill, with one or two exceptions.
-
How sure are you about that?

Shit, I just discovered that Valkyria Chronicles II isn't in the PSN store. Guess I won't be playing it, then, since I only have a vita now.

"could of"

What? How?

The extended version of Walk Hard is actually, in my opinion, the superior version of the film. The theatrical version did have a few pacing problems but that was because everything went by so much faster to save time. On an unrelated note, now that I watch the trailer, I notice that a lot of what it shows either doesn't happen or happens differently in the actual movie. It still gives you a good idea, though. If you want actual footage to go off of, here's one of my favorite scenes.

Try it sometime.

I disagree, at least in the case of Walk Hard.

Well by the time you reach the end of the game you want to be at LEAST level 70, preferably higher. Tartarus has over 200 floors so you still have a ways to go. Fuuka doesn't miss any weaknesses with the exclusion of bosses, who may or may not have a weakness in the first place. I wouldn't recommend running straight for the stairs on every floor because if you don't bother to fight and level as you explore you'll eventually hit a brick wall. Some of the tartarus bosses are a bitch and a half. You're gonna want to exploit enemy weaknesses as often as possible, even when you can kill them with weapons, because doing so gets you the shuffle and shuffles can give you pretty significant exp bonuses if you get the leaf card, especially on higher floors. Having the right personas can make it easier, though. If your persona is ten levels underneath you then you might want to look into fusion to see if you can get something a little closer to your level. Just remember to register all your personas in the compendium before you fuse anything in case you need them again. As for checking each floor, yes, I would recommend doing so. When you DO find weapons and armor they're often good ones that would otherwise cost you a lot of money in the store. If you're in a hurry you can just have the party split up to explore independently. It's usually the quickest way to get whatever items are on that floor since they bring everything back to you once you regroup.

I imagine they'll be doing your final fantasies and metal gears and whatnot first. Then they'll move on to the spyros and crash bandicoots out there. Finally, they'll do all those shitty games nobody likes but people still demand to be playable.

Release date is October 23rd. A lot sooner than I thought. I hope that doesn't mean we've seen most of the characters already. A game like this needs a big roster.

I used to love Capcom vs SNK 2. One of my fondest memories of the game was when I was on vacation in Las Vegas. I stayed in the Circus Circus hotel which had a huge fairway/arcade on the second floor above the casino. I was taking a break from gambling and figured I'd see what games they had, and CvS2 was one of them. I actually owned the game on the PS2 already but it only cost a quarter and a lot of people were playing it so I figured I'd take a few of them on. By the end there was this huge line of people all lining up just so they could try to break my streak. One of them eventually managed to beat me by the skin of his teeth, but I'm pretty sure I won at LEAST 15 matches before that happened.

Not dead perhaps, but it certainly diminishes its chances.

Here's the first good thing I've seen come out of source movie maker.
