I'm not fond of the party system either. Usually I'm fairly liberal but I'm not voting for either candidate this time around. I WAS going to vote for Obama but that whole NDAA thing and ESPECIALLY that leaked document showing that he planned to give a LOT more power to large companies really turned me off. Regarding the gay thing...I just never seem to grasp why it's such a big deal, and it's not because I'm an atheist. Let's say for the sake of argument that being gay is a sin. Well, you probably sinned about a dozen times before lunch, but you don't see a picket line telling you you're going to hell. For that matter, isn't the requirement for heaven by most christian standards simply accepting Christ as your savior and believing in him? Being gay somehow overrides that? So accepting Jesus will have him forgive you for being a thief or a crook or even a murderer, but if you're gay then there's just no getting past that? How does that make ANY sense even by Christian logic? How can any devout Christian genuinely believe that their god is really that petty? Christianity would be so much more worthwhile to me if there weren't so many people twisting it to make god look like a sadistic asshole. There's a lot of good stuff in the Bible, but a lot of people have forgotten that the right thing, in this case learning to accept gay people, is rarely the same as the easy thing.

Seems like a lot of complaining just because the show didn't do things the way she would have done it. The love triangle was given a little too much attention and maybe Korra getting her bending back is a bit too easy, I'll give her that, but the majority of that list is just nitpicking.

Usually I hate it when side characters get romantically paired just for the sake of everybody getting a relationship at the end but in Bolin's case I fully endorse it.

I watched Battle Royale on Netflix. Real good movie, but it is depressing as hell.

Well I don't think anybody but diehard fanboys are going to claim that steam is perfect, but it's still better than any of the alternatives.

Holy SHIT this finale was amazing. Oh my god I need season 2 right now. This was television at its best.

The biggest problem right now is that they simply don't offer anything that Steam already doesn't do much better. They claim to have big ideas to win people over, but forgive me if I don't exactly have faith in their ability to deliver. I can think of a few things right now that could make Origin actually worth using, but I'm betting none of those things will be implemented.
