I actually have the original HBO version complete with Kermit the Frog segments recorded off on VHS (then transferred to DVD-R) My brother also recorded Muppet Family Christmas (the Icy Patch one) on the same disc (complete with the original 80s commercials.) Really, both games have their pros and cons. If you enjoy one, I don't see why you wouldn't enjoy the other.

I already liked this series, but after seeing the movie I got a whole new appreciation for the narrative as a whole. It offers a satisfying conclusion, but doesn't tie things up so tightly that it can't ever be continued in any way (if only...). My only complaint with the film is...
