  1. I want to try this series, but god damn there is so much to catch up on that it is rather intimidating.
  2. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-XWCrhu-IUE Complete.... Global.... SATURATION.
  3. How about Mass Effect? You get to choose a background for Shepard in that game. Did you care about that one at all? Or is this just not something you're into?
  4. I mean the whole package. Without any identity to attach myself to, it was a little hard to get too attached to all these people in New Vegas ordering me around and making me do their errands. The Enclave/Brotherhood conflict was more engaging to me, but who are these people? You want a poker chip? Why should I give a crap what you want? I don't know any of you people. I could probably just keep on walking and my life would go on just fine without any of you Bossy Bettys. There's no personal stake in deciding what happens to New Vegas. You're not even FROM there.
  5. But you really don't know the courier at ALL. You know this: He got shot. Getting shot apparently did not agree with him so he's looking for the guy who shot him. And that's about it. Nothing about any past that I could ever find. It's pretty much a completely blank slate. And I know the idea is to make it whoever you want it to be, but it's good to have some kind of native environment to acclimate yourself to, like Vault 101 and your family. Vegas didn't have a BAD story, but it was pretty much "Here's the wasteland. Go do shit."
  6. I love that first one, Sick. I would buy that on a shirt.
  7. This was my primary controller. I don't remember how I got it, but I loved this damn thing. SO much better than the pad.
  8. It's kinda like being Dr. Manhattan, only with less clothing.
  9. I don't think you're supposed to put games you've already played on a backlog...
  10. Ok, I'm pretty impressed with the SoM port. Rather than just running an emulator with a virtual SNES pad, a lot of things (menus and such) are redone to be optimized for a touch screen. The d-pad (joystick, really) works pretty well, although I turn off the directional assistance myself. If you liked Secret of Mana and have an ipod touch or an iphone, it seems like a good game to have on there.
  11. I haven't checked this thread in a while. Has Ethan finished failing yet?
  12. Sega's sound chip may not have been as advanced as the SNES one, but don't count it out. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S_H9URvIbYs&feature=related
  13. Haunts too much. Seriously, quit hauntin' so much. Why you haunt so much? Ain't normal to haunt so much. Bothers folks to see someone haunt so much.
  14. For a while, I thought you were Rayman's ghost.
  15. Since Sega no longer makes consoles, this 16-bit beauty needed a retro thread. Note that unlike the console wars thread in this forum, this is ONLY about discussing the genesis and its games, not comparing it to the SNES. If you owned a Genesis and loved it, get all nostalgic up in here!
  16. What kind of sick man destroys a copy of Super Mario Bros on the NES?
  17. Bad dudes. The second line, if you can't tell.
  18. Secret of Mana is out in the iPhone app store. I'll let you guys know how it plays.
  19. FO3 had the better story easily. I would say Vegas had better gameplay, but I never played the PC version of FO3 so I don't know if it had as many goddamn bugs as Vegas does.
