  1. I played this puzzle edutainment game as a kid and it actually wasn't half bad. But the sliding tile puzzle always stumped me because I suck at them and I hate them. Seriously, I hate sliding tile puzzles so goddamn much.
  2. Remember all those animal mascot games on the Genesis that tried to copy Sonic's popularity? The only one of those that was any good was Sparkster.
  3. I would have kept playing it but the network was shit and it pissed me off.
  4. Early screenings for Hornet had positive reactions, so maybe Nick is just shit at picking good roles. But even he has to get lucky once in a while (Kick-Ass)
  5. LittlePirate was cool enough to buy me the PC version of this game as a gift, so I can finally see what all the fuss is about. After Christmas anyway. I don't have any fucking time to play it right now.
  6. A lot of these reviews seem to say the same thing. "Significant, groundbreaking for its time, but unenjoyable for its blatant racism." I'm paraphrasing, mind you, but it's the gist of it. I'm not arguing that it wasn't groundbreaking, but "great" seems like a misnomer to me.
  7. What's a good song to hear when you're really pissed off and had a shit day? Preferably something that's fucking metal.
  8. Casper has some kind of discharge around his eye...I'm gonna have to get him to the vet. It's probably not anything serious, but I work a lot and don't have a lot of free time lately but I don't want to wait too long and risk it getting infected...It's a real dilemma.
  9. I get what it means, but there are just SO many games that affected me in different ways. I don't really know how to say which ones were the MOST significant.
  10. I love PS but PSIIi was rushed and it shows. Some people still like it, but it is definitely the black sheep.
  11. Hostess Apple Pies. I have a weakness.
  12. This is really annoying. Fortunately most games have wised up about it by now, but you still get it every now and then.
  13. I always wanted to participate in this topic but for me narrowing it down to 9 titles is practically impossible.
  14. We totally have to talk about every episode of season 3!
  15. Nope, it's just that damn good. On an unrelated note, Steam needs to hurry up and add Back to the Future as a preorder already so I can know if there are any bonuses. If not I'll just order it straight from TT.
  16. You can get all three seasons of Sam and Max today for 20 bucks. If you bought the first two on steam, this would still make you eligible for free DVDs of all three seasons with special bonus materials on them. Thought you might want to consider that, Temp. As far as I know it's ONLY today.
  17. I can beat the game on normal, but I might do that for the PC version just so I can get through it faster in time for DA2.
  18. I would have more bandages if I could even find the damn things. I haven't looked any of them up.
  19. It might be historically significant, but that hardly means anybody should want to absorb its message. It's a list of great films, not important films.
  20. Ever since the sword and axe came out I was hoping for some kind of Braveheart mode. I'm quite pleased about this update.
  21. It'd be nicer except I'm working so much right now that I barely have time to fucking play it.
  22. I wouldn't mind the sierra deaths if there was a more convenient quicksave option.
  23. I asked about that in chat and was given the affirmative. We were taught about it in History Class (I did 20th century America) Ok, so...WHY THE FUCK IS IT ON THAT LIST!?
  24. I work through the whole weekend and don't get a day off until Wednesday.
  25. Why is it ridiculous to put forth extra effort for an achievement but it's not ridiculous to put forth extra effort for master materia or whatever special reward is in the game for an ultra-hard challenge? You can say "Well master materia is useful" but ultimately it's meaningless, because you can finish the game just fine without it. The fun is in the journey, not the destination.
