Catherine. Katherine ending. My PS3 is collecting dust so I decided I should sell it soon and maybe get a PS VR in the near future, but I wanted to play one last game on it. I bought this a while back on sale for five bucks and never got around to it and I didn't want that purchase to go to waste. This ended up being an interesting experience because puzzle games are never really my thing and...this is no exception. I was pretty invested in the story and where it was going, but whenever it came time to actually push blocks around I just kinda forced myself through it so I could get to the next cutscene. I probably would have liked this more as a visual novel or something. As it is, I'm pushing blocks every time I close my eyes now. It's not a bad puzzle game if you're into that, I suppose, but a lot of times it became very frustrating for me. I don't know if it's just because I'm bad at puzzle games or if it's designed to be particularly sadistic. It wasn't all that long of a game, so I'll probably play it one more time for the Catherine ending and then move on from the PS3 for good.

Today's my birthday but I'm not really celebrating or anything. I still felt like I ought to at least buy something fun, though, and I've been kind of curious about drones for a while so I got myself a cheap one. I know that this is not a "real" drone and that enthusiasts would scoff at me for buying this one, but I'm just looking to dip my toes into the hobby and see how much I like it before I go dropping hundreds of dollars on anything serious.

Guardians of the Galaxy vol. 2 Opinions seem divided on this one, but I thought it was pretty good. True, not all the jokes land and it gets a little silly in the first half, but it also does a lot of things right in my opinion.

Mishima's stupid ass stopped giving me requests because I forgot to check my messages a few times, so I couldn't finish his link. This also kept me from reading all the books because some of them are rewards. I also waited too long to fight the superboss, though this one was kind of on purpose since I already knew I'd have to do it again anyway so I figured I might as well use the extra time to put together stronger Personas for the fight. I FINALLY DID IT. 250 hours and three playthroughs later, I finally got the Persona 5 platinum. I don't know if I've ever put this much work into getting one. Technically it should have been possible in two playthroughs, but I fucked up in the second one and ended up having to do a third to get those last few I missed. Persona is a game that does not give you many chances to go back and fix your mistakes if you do something wrong, but I did it. I can finally move on, but unless someone releases a game in 2017 that blows you while you play it, this will absolutely be my game of the year. Something else I noticed is that fewer than 1% of players have the platinum. Even for a completionist trophy, that seems pretty damn rare.

Reviews are starting to trickle out and they seem to be on the average side. Might wait for a price drop on this one.

I was walking home today and I say four guys beating up a little kid so I decided to help. He stood no chance against all five of us.

Steam will no longer allow you to store steam gifts or send them through email. I've also heard they won't let you buy games in 2 or 4 packs anymore either, but I don't have a source for that yet.

The longer you stare at it, the more fucked up it gets.

Sony is the publisher for that game so I'd say it's about as likely as Uncharted on PC.
