  1. http://www.politicususa.com/2016/11/03/politicus-presidential-projection-map-november-3-2016.html Maybe this will ease your minds a bit. Even with his his recent poll increase, Trump would need to win pretty much every single swing state to seize the presidency.
  2. Yeah, they're pretty much the only way to go. Unfortunately, Jojo only recently started getting decent translations so some of the chapters are still kind of rough around the edges. The best translations are done by Jojo's Colored Adventure, who not only translate it well but, as you can guess by the name, they do a really professional quality coloring job of the original black and white panels that make the action scenes easier to follow. Unfortunately, they haven't completed work on part 5 so you will have to find multiple sources for that one. They have completed translating and coloring parts 6 and 7, though. Part 8 is ongoing so they aren't working on that. Part 8 has a decent translation already, too, though it isn't colored.
  3. Have you read the manga too or does your knowledge come from Eyes of Heaven? Because if you have then you're only the second human being myself I've ever known who has. It's so damn hard to recommend it to people. Jojo is already a pretty unconventional series to begin with, but then you ask people to READ on top of that and they just tune out completely. Only one of my friends was even willing to give the first episode a chance. Vid related. The PS3 and PS4 game spoil the crap out of parts 5 through 8. The PS3 game basically retreads the events of the manga and the PS4 game is an original story, but it uses time travel shenanigans to get the characters from all 8 parts interacting with each other. The Stardust Crusaders game for PS1 was pretty good for a fighting game, though I think it's not for sale because of rights transfers now. I wish I'd bought it back when the HD version was around but I didn't know back then.
  4. The best one is when they changed a stand called Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap into "Filthy Acts at a Reasonable Price."
  5. Crazy Diamond is a reference to Pink Floyd's "Shine On You Crazy Diamond." Changing the name for Surface is just dumb though, I agree. Surface is a reference too, but the word surface is so common that I really don't see why they had to change it. Same with Echoes. Sorry, "Reverb." Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G920A using Tapatalk
  6. Well shit, now I'm forced to use my old and busted PC again after the charger for my new laptop started spitting out sparks. I miss my SSD...

could pop the SSD out and plug into your desktop.

  7. Nintendo is already ending production of the Wii U before the Switch is even out. I know the console wasn't much of a success, but geez, as if I didn't need enough proof that buying it was a mistake. I'll always have Splatoon, I guess.
  8. I honestly can't fathom how anyone in the lower class can say they're a Republican with a straight face. The Republican party is against pretty much everything that would give them a chance at improving their lot in life.
  9. Steam Halloween sale. Playing the first one got me in the mood to do this one again, but I never actually got around to buying the PC version until now.
  10. I think he took a more active role later on because he wasn't happy with how the show was turning out. He definitely isn't the show runner, though. His role is pretty much designing the new characters and plotting out the story. I don't believe he writes the actual scripts himself. From the wiki: Akira Toriyama writes the plot outline, and then a team of writers creates the script, expanding, adding, and changing elements from Toriyama's plan as they deem appropriate.[8] The original suggestions for some of the storylines come from the editorial office, then Toriyama writes the outlines. [9] However, Toriyama has seemingly complained about the anime's quality at points
  11. I would recommend watching the movies at some point, even if you wait and watch the show first. On top of just being better, there are some pretty noticeable differences in characterization. This is primarily because the movies were primarily written by Akira Toriyama, whereas the tv show is written by another team that just uses his notes.
  12. The first 27 episodes of Dragon Ball Super are actually not very good. They just rehash the Battle of Gods and Resurrection F movies by stretching them out way longer than they should be and derailing several characters in the process. There are a few standout moments and the show does thankfully get better once it starts doing original material, but I wouldn't expect much from the beginning. 13. Maybe four years. Vento Aureo and Stone Ocean are about as long as Stardust Crusaders, give or take a few chapters. After that, however, the manga switched to a new monthly format, so while Steel Ball Run had fewer chapters, each one was a lot longer so it would probably last longer as an anime too. Jojolion is anyone's guess. I really have no idea how much longer that part is going to be going.
  14. Hirohiko Araki pretty much realized that he struck gold when he came up with stands, so they stick around from part 3 on. It isn't the only thing going forward. One of the later parts introduces a new concept that exists alongside stands which is pretty cool, though it will be a good while before the anime ever gets that far, assuming they even adapt it. Diamond is Unbreakable is pretty much all about stands. I will say, however, that the stands and stand abilities get weirder and weirder as time goes on, in a good way. Araki pretty much uses up all the "obvious" powers in Stardust Crusaders, so he had to start getting creative after that.
  15. Finally! I won't be needing the Wii U anymore! Except the Switch isn't backwards compatible, soooo...
  16. I can't say I feel too sympathetic. Voice actors already get paid a lot better than I do for work that is a hell of a lot easier. Also, some of the demands are just ridiculous. Overtime pay for two hours? Get the fuck out of here. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G920A using Tapatalk
  17. Resident Evil Remastered. Yeah, I had to use a walkthrough at certain points. I never would have finished it on my own otherwise. The game was alright but I don't think it's aged too well over the years. It's been a while since I played it but I remember liking RE2 a lot more. At any rate, I can finally say I've beaten all the main numbered entries in the series.
  18. Looks like they're opening up more to the idea of R-rated comic book movies thanks to the success of Deadpool. That's good, especially since they seem to really be taking advantage of the added freedom instead of just exploiting the rating to be edgy like Batman v Superman.
  19. Danganronpa really works better as a VN, if you ask me. Without that interactivity it loses something. In other news, One Punch Man is officially getting a second season. It was announced in the recent manga chapter. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G920A using Tapatalk
  20. I got the Resident Evil Remaster on PS+ to play through this month and Jesus Christ, I'm remembering why I always had trouble getting into the original game. All this inventory management and running to the item box and getting lost and turned around is super tedious. I'm trying not to consult a step by step walkthrough because there's not much fun to be had in that, but having no idea where to go is pretty frustrating.
  21. So apparently the sequel to Dangaronpa 2 isn't a game but an anime to finish out the story instead? That's a little weird but okay.
  22. Batman: Return of the Caped Crusaders This is the newest DC Animated movie and boy is it a breath of fresh air. With all the grimdark plaguing Batman recently I didn't realize just how much I needed a return to the silver age silliness of the Adam West age. This movie was a great adaptation of that series too. It's goofy and funny without straying too far into self-parody. It took itself as seriously as the original show did, and it also included a few pretty great references and jabs at other, darker Batman adaptations. I enjoyed this one pretty much from beginning to end, and I hope we get to see another one like this in the future.
  23. Watching Bob Ross is a great way to relax right before bed.

  24. Five bucks on steam and I used to love the first two entries in the series so what the hell. I hear this is the last good one before Sims 4 takes a huge dump on the franchise anyway.
