  1. AGREED PS+ on Vita would be great. I wonder what the hold up is? There's not a ton of Vita games yet, but they could discount PSP games.
  2. Yeah your friends online with their Vitas will still appear offline on your PS3, and after they log off they won't have a "last signed on", so they'll be waaayy at the bottom of your list.
  3. Fact: There is no better chocolate bars than Hershey's Cookies n Cream.

It contains cocoa butter (most of the time), but yeah it's not quite chocolate in the same way milk n dark are, which have cocoa solids.

White chocolate is a type of milk chocolate.

CowboyPoet, it seems we're not smart enough to know fancy chocolate. Cookies 'n Cream is still great though!

  4. I know that, I think it speaks volumes that, other than maybe a shortage of games (but that's to be expected early in a handheld's lifecycle, and I still prefer the Vita library over the 3DS), my main issues with the Vita, are actually the PS3's problems.
  5. To be honest, that's my biggest disappointment with the Vita. The impression I got, pre-release, was that it was going to be fully connected with the PS3. In some ways, yeah it is, transferring my MGS HD saves is super easy, and doesn't even require a cable, but in other ways, it hasn't lived up. I can't see which friends are online on my PS3, I can't view my Vita trophies, and some of the things they demonstrated, like playing PS3 games remotely via the Vita hasn't arrived. I know not everyone cares about that feature, but it's a convenience I was looking forward too. But yeah, I think Strangelove nailed it, especially in regards to trophies/friends on PS3.
  6. http://kotaku.com/5924784/its-too-bad-this-awesome-final-fantasy-is-so-insanely-priced Is 16 dollars too much for FFT? Or is it reasonably priced and games are just too cheap at $1?

I agree with FDS, quality-wise, I'd say it's worth it's price, especially if you're into that type of game, and if it's the WotL version. But at this stage? On the Iphone? Too expensive.

iOS owners arent going to pay that much for a game.

  7. I really wish Sony would bring the way they organize trophies on the Vita, to the PS3. Being able to see exactly how much % you have on each game, the standalone game, and the DLC packs is awesome.
  8. Go up and read, after you posted that article, it's pretty obvious that both Strangelove and I were referring to Square Enix's first party, Japanese studios, you know, the ones that are developed by Square Enix, and not Edios/Crystal Dynamics.
  9. That's great but we're not really talking about the non-Japanese games Exactly! Even XIII-2 was graphically a step down from XIII. Their latest and greatest isn't even on par with the 2009 game and they want new consoles? Hm.
  10. No, Ethan. Tombraider isn't being developed by Square Enix, the development house is Crystal Dynamics. DE:HR is Edios. It's the same thing with EA and Bioware in regards to Mass Effect. We're talking about Square Enix developed games.
  11. Yeah they have Kingdom Hearts and Dragon Quest (plus their Canadian/US studios but those don't count as Square Enix) but neither DQ or KH have gotten a console game since the PS2....
  12. Really Square? You have two PS3 games, Versus XIII and XIV, both of them announced years ago, in fact Versus was announced in 2006, and you STILL don't have a release date for either game. So why are you sitting there asking for new consoles when you can't even get your shit together on these consoles?
  13. Where were you 5 hours ago?!?! On the upside, I got doubles of all my trophies!
  14. It's a totally nice day outside, I want to finish MGS3, but I don't want to stay inside, so, being the sucker that I am, I just double dipped and bought the Vita HD collection.
  15. If you want a "classic" Final Fantasy sprite-based experience, I'd pick up the FFIV Complete Collection for PSP/Vita. If you dig sprite based aesthetics you will LOVE the way it looks. Honestly, that's the one I'd start with. The game holds up fairly well today and was where the series really started finding it's footing.
  16. How long did it take you to platinum Gravity Rush?
  17. I got a 50 dollar Future Shop gift card for my birthday last week, so I picked up a copy of Dragon's Dogma. Now just wait, it will drop in price next week.
  18. What about the Dissidia and Tactics games?! I demand they be added! Just kidding Dean. Supposedly a XIII-3 may be in the works. I have to say, I'm excited. Though I really hope this one stars Lightning. Maybe ditch the time traveling and just give us a well designed open world with XIII's battle system? Yes please! Also: apparently X HD is also a ways off. Square! You're making this more complicated than it needs to be, call up Sony, ask them how they did the God of War/Sly/Ico collections, and then give us X, X-2, and XII, sell it for 45 bones or whatever, and profit. You don't need to build the game up from scratch.
  19. I wish they'd just admit the Templars are all with the British, and Connor supports the Americans, so we can all move on.
  20. Damn Minnesota, how about leave some UFAs for the rest of us!! In all honest, the NW has been weak for the past few seasons, besides the elite Canucks. With the Wild at least a playoff team, and you'd have to think the Oilers are playoff bound, it should make for some more exciting hockey, if anything.

    Wii U

I interpretted it as games can have in-game achievements, but there wasn't an overall level, and no way to compare trophies with your friends.

    Wii U

Obviously, saves would be a big one for Mass Effect (though that wasn't big enough to stop me from play ME2 and ME3 on PS3). But for starters. Most of the multi-platform games (ME3, Arkham City) are coming out about a year too late. Lots of these games have multiplayer, and my friends list on PS3 features many of my real life friends, plus you dudes, and I don't see everyone switching to Wii U right away (not to mention: Friend Codes). Even though I believe the Wii U will be slightly more powerful than 360/PS3 I don't think we'll see games looking any better on it for awhile, this will be early in it's development cycle, and games always tend to look pretty crappy. But most importantly, and I know this doesn't matter for some people, Nintendo has said there still won't be an achievement system. I have a real hard time sitting through a game and not getting anything to show for it, unless there was no other option and it's a game I really want to play (Mario/Zelda/Metroid). When PS3/Steam/360 all have achievement systems, Nintendo's refusal to implement one of their own, just reeks of their usual attempts at trying to be "different".

    Wii U

Being able to play console games without using the TV is really what I'm most excited about for the Wii U. If you live on your own, or with your parents (and have your own TV), it won't be a big issue, but I live with my girlfriend and we only have one TV. Even if we had two, it's still nice to sit together. This way instead of her being bored and watching me play Mass Effect, she can watch whateverthefuck she watches on TV and I can play my game. But where the Wii U fails is, I would never play a Mass Effect game on a Nintendo console.
