  1. Ah, well, my dreams of platinuming MGS3 died last night, as I missed the chance to kill The End early. Still, free trophies are free trophies.
  2. So, if I play Snake Eater on PS3, get a bunch of trophies, and then "transfar" my save over to Vita, the trophies should unlock, yes?
  3. I lucked out! I got MSG HD on Saturday. I am in the clear. Trophies ahoy!
  4. Strangelove, have you played the game on PS3? If so have you tried the transferring for trophies? One of the guys got the Vita collection, and I just got the PS3 collection, we've already arranged the old switcheroo.
  5. Apparently Sly 2 is the best of the bunch. I played a bit of Sly 1, then started Sly 2 and thought it was a lot better. I still haven't played Sly 3.
  6. At least it's easy to say.... I'm looking at you... Theatrhymn! Or Kingdom Hearts 358/2. As long as Square Enix is around, no other game developer/publisher can hope to come up with a more stupid name, not even Kojima.
  7. FDS, it was a launch title. It's the closest the series will ever get to a sequel, because it's not just a port of the PS3 game. MNR Vita is the opposite of a fun game, which is kind of bad, especially considering it's a kart raser. It does have some online functions like posting your time trials and racing other people's ghosts, it's pretty half assed. It's almost as if Sony was 50% done development, then decided LittleBigPlanet was the karting future and half assed the rest of ModNation. And don't even get me started on the menu screens. It's a pity though, because the front touch and back touch should have made creating tracks super fun and easy, but the entire game just fell apart.
  8. So would owning a pair of shoes just because they make me feel man-pretty count as a specific use??
  9. That's one of those game that you'd think would be next up to move to the Vita store. Not that it matters, I haven't heard of a PSP game not being able to transfer PS3->Vita.
  10. I have a relatively modest guitar collection compared to some of the gentlemen on The Gear Page. For now, that is.
  11. This is why Duke is my role model.
  12. Got an awesome new stand to hold some of my geetars.
  13. Playing my first MGS game, Snake Eater. Some of the game mechanics haven't aged too well, but that hasn't stopped it from being ridiculously awesome. Still trying to figure out why not all the Russians have Russian accents. I'll play Peace Walker next, then MGS2.
  14. Fable II had a great world, I really have some fond memories playing it, even if it wasn't the greatest game I've ever played. Fable III is inferior to Fable II in almost every way, unfortunately. However, it's still worth playing if you don't have much else to play. Avoid the Fable II DLC.
  15. Just picked up this for the old PS3. Starting with Snake Eater.
  16. I can't believe I forgot Doctor Who!! If I had to do a list of shows no long on the air..... Lost Buffy Angel Firefly
  17. I got my girlfriend Lego Harry Potter for Christmas. She's basically a 4 year old when it comes to gaming, so it was great finding a game she could actually play. Except she couldn't play it on PS3 with the DS3 "the stick things are too hard" she said, but she managed pretty good on the DS.
  18. If Sony wants to be serious about same day digital releases, they need to have their store updated in the morning (or even better, at midnight, isn't that what Steam does?). Updating at 7pm at night, plus an hours download, plus install time, means the majority of people can't even play their game the day it's released. Digital downloading is suppose to be about convenience but loses a lot of that when I can go to my local store and get that game at 10 am.
  19. You're not truly alive unless you own a Vita. But seriously... these games: Escape Plan Rayman Origins (my favorite version) Super Stardust Lumines Uncharted Gravity Rush Not to mention the ability to play some PSP games with a right stick (so awesome).

    Wii U

Just seems to me that Pikmin would be the more obvious choice for online multiplayer. So if they didn't do it for Pikmin, no way for NSMBU. But maybe I'm wrong. Nintendo is hard to predict.

    Wii U

I was playing LittleBigPlanet online last weekend and it worked fine, especially when everyone had mics. I don't see how this would be any worst. Playing with friends on the same couch would be ideal, but having the option to play online would still be nice.

    Wii U

Here we go again... no online multiplayer for Pikmin 3. I guess that will rule out New Super Mario Bros U as well.
  23. On-air: Game of Thrones Fringe Community 30 Rock Parks and Rec
  24. Awesome. Also: Escape Plan is getting DLC for 2 cents this week. EDIT: They just changed the price to 25 cents, those jerks! http://blog.us.playstation.com/2012/06/12/shocking-news-escape-plan-the-asylum-dlc-released-for-2-cents/
