You get to greenlight a sequel to any game that has ever existed
TCP replied to Vargras's topic in General Gaming Chat
Majora's Mask. The game starts with Link searching for Navi. It ends with him saving Termina and leaving his new friends (yeah, spoilers, everything works out... shocking). I know there's games that take place "generations later" but we never found out if Link found Navi. To me, that's always been a little sad But I probably only say this because I'm such a fanboy for the N64 Zeldas. -
I started inFamous this weekend. I originally bought it a few months ago.. I must have been in a bad mood or something, because the characters irritated me to the point that I stopped playing after getting to the food drop (about 5 minutes into the game). However, I put it in on Saturday, hoping I could get some quick easy trophies and then found out that I really like the game. It reminds me a lot of Assassin's Creed, except instead of hidden blades you shoot electricity. I have found it a little tedious, and Cole doesn't always go where you want him to, but hopefully that's corrected in the sequel.

You know what would be great? Finding a GBA copy of V or VI for under $40
-
I heard mixed things about it but I found it for under 5 dollars new... so I couldn't not buy it!
-
I bought Borderlands and all the DLC for 15 bones tonight. Anyone else play this on PS3?
-
Yesterday I bought Scott Pilgrim and Pacman DX for only 5 bones each! Then I bought Final Fantasy 3, Secret of Mana, and Donkey Kong Country 3 via the Virtual Console. Oh man do I love Super Nintendo.
-
I never got into the original Bioshock but that Infinite demo/trailer looked amazing. I am now officially excited!
-
I purchased Nier for 15 dollars (Canadian!!) the other day. I looked all over for the PS3 version, couldn't find it anywhere and then as soon as I stopped looking, I noticed it randomly sitting on top of a bin of games at EB Games. So far I really like, it has some flaws, but it's a fun game.

My problem with the game was just having part of the screen blocked by these clown hands of mine. They worked great otherwise. Actually on second thought that temple you had to constantly return to and redo was a fucking tedious affair! I also thought the sailing didn't work as well as in Wind Waker. In Wind Waker it was like a traditional Zelda... Instead of exploring Hyrule Field, you're sailing the ocean. But plotting out your route in PH got in the way of that and took out some of the fun.

Am I the only one who doesn't care how many Wii U controllers it can use? I mean any sort of local multiplayer is probably going to be a party game or something like Mario Kart, which works fine with a classic controller. Does anyone who's not a child actually get 4 friends and game in a room together?

Does anyone know where I can find the Zelda HD demo, that isn't shot off-screen?? Thanks!! Also.. is USB fast enough to run an HD game off of?

Exactly, there's no pleasing everyone. You should read some of the comments on finalfantasyforums.net, now granted they're mostly all European teenagers, but still, there's no pleasing them. The only Final Fantasy I'd say is not good, would be II, as there was a lot of things broken about that game, somethings have been fixed in various re-releases but it's still hard to play. There's other games I don't like but that's all personal preferences. Final Fantasy fans seem to mix up their opinions with facts.

I just "bought" Dead Nation, which I have yet to play, and also Wipeout HD, which I played for a few minutes. I already had Infamous and LittleBigPlanet so it wasn't that hard of a choice over Super Stardust, which didn't sound like it'd interest me. The PSP was a bit harder to choose, I already had the LittleBigPlanet (which I thought worked really well on the handheld) so I chose ModNation Racers, which, again I had the PS3 version but I was hoping it'd translate well to the PSP like LBP did. Unfortunately, I completely forgot how annoying the story is to that game. It's a kart racer, we don't need a story. They should have just done the thing with sackboys and girls and called it a day. The last game I chose was Killzone, which was only because Pursuit Force was even less interesting to me. I would have been really happy with half off on some PSone classics are something. Oh well, free game is free.

Never mind! I beat it. What a satisfying ending... what a game!! Hopefully we get a 2011 North America release of XIII-2 soon!

As much as I loved Final Fantasy XIII, there was still a few tweaks they could have done to improve the game. To me, this is them saying "OK we know we have some great characters, storylines, battlesystem, and concepts, let's see what we can do to improve the overall experience". And fortunately for them, they had a bunch of left over concepts from the original game, but we don't know how that will be implemented, if at all. Until then, here's some screenshots to drool over. Look Lightning's cute sister is a playable character! Score!

That's pretty cool. Especially about the camera control. Unfortunately my memory stick is already full of PSone Classics and DL only games so all my games are UMD. hopefully they make some sort of attachment, that'd be ideal... Or just have PSP DL's cheap, so I don't feel too ripped off buying Dissidia and Crisis Core again.

So you can return to Pulse at the end of the game? I'm in Orphan's Cradle but still have some Pulse missions I never completed. No hockey tonight (Go Canucks!) maybe I'll try to push through the rest of XIII... but something tells me I have some long ass boss battles ahead.

I remember buying a minidisc player in 2003ish, my friend tried convincing me that mp3 players were the future of music. I wish I had listened. What a stepbackwards that was.

Just finished Final Fantasy IV, moving onto the interlude. I'm excited to try out The After Years. How long should the interlude take?
-
I think it's better than "Mystic Quest" or "Crystal Chronicles".
-
Yeah it's one of the only PSP games to require two UMD games. It must have been completely different as a portable. As DarkMalice mentioned, it use to be called Final Fantasy Agito XIII, but it was renamed Type-0 this January. It's like Crisis Core meets Harry Potter.

As an avid PSPer/RPG fan/Square Enix fanboy, this is one of my most anticipated games of 2011. There's been lots of screenshots in the past few months, and today, at a Dissidia tournament, actual footage was shown. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bkC1lPinIus http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4QzkASp9O9c http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RBdL8Vk62II Is anyone else excited?

If anything other than Ocarina of Tine is number one, I might vomit in anger!
-
Tetris! I should have put that one on my list!

IGN, who love handing out overly high scores, only gave it an 8.5. I don't know, it'd be tough to be Rockstars follow up to Red Dead Redemption.
