That's pretty smart of Square, to be honest. They knew that, in North America at least, Sazh was one of the most liked characters from 13. Saving him for DLC might lead to some complaints but will also create some more $$$$$. DLC is just a fact of life. As long as it's not obnoxious like Assassin's Creed 2's missing sequences, I'm ok with it.

The first half (which was more like the first 3/4th) was pretty much Fable 2 without any imagination. The last section was just a mess. At least it wasn't on rails though...

Yeah, Lion Head PR people need to tell him not to talk anymore. I love Fable 2. Fable 3 had a lot of promise but could have used another 6 months of development.

I don't know... looks like this series has run it's course. They should just re-title this game "Kingdom Heats 3" and be done with it, then they can move on to what Square Enix does best (metal chocobo songs!).

Just pre-ordered Xenoblade Chronicles! Now I am excited for April for more reasons than just the NHL playoffs (...and end of winter..)

I keep contemplating picking up Cave Story 3D but I think I'll save myself 30 dollars and get it via DSi Ware.

I've been going back and forth on whether to buy the games via retail or buy digitally. Even though I like having the retail boxes on my shelf, I think I'm going to buy digitally, so why not get the 32 GB? I have the money (though I still think it's too expensive...) and I'd love to have all my games on one card, being able to walk around with all my PSone, PSP (DISSIDIA!!!), and PSVita games on me at all times. A 32 GB card should be good for the first year at least.... Maybe I am a sucker.. but think how many more trophies I'll be getting while you guys are switching out cards!!!!

Listening to some of the stories from the launch in Japan, seems 32 GB cards were very hard to come by, with most stores only getting one.

Journalists have legal responsibilities and protections. Bloggers have neither. So there is certainly a definition between the two.
As for the Sites IGN n Kotaku. 1up is alright now n then, don't actively visit though.

I ended up just upgrading my potions and using them once I got down to 1 or 2 hearts during boss fights. The fairies were pretty useless with only giving you 6 hearts, especially near the end when I was only missing two containers. I wouldn't have minded some armour like in Twilight Princess (sans the ruppee charging) or great fairies courage from Ocarina... but I probably only say that because I went straight from fighting whathisface to Demise without reloading potions... needless to say I died in my first attempt.

Oh you! What a joker. ....It probably would have made more sense if I read the first part of your post. I just saw "brown tunic" and immediately freaked the hell out. As demonstrated last night in the Assassin's Creed thread, I haven't been too observant as of late.

Well there's blue fairies that don't revive you but do say "hey! listen!" and yellow fairies that can be a bit rude at times.

Returning to the same areas again and again didn't really bother me too much, they at least made an attempt at making the area different or giving you a new area to explore within that area. However, I wouldn't have been opposed to a fourth overall area... maybe snow? However, the more I think about it, the more the world design reminds me of 2D Zelda's, specifically games like Link's Awakening or the Oracle games. There was a lot crammed into those worlds, and everything had a purpose. He must mean a pink fairy, the ones that revive you.

Ahhh dammit I wrote out a huge post and then it got deleted. Damn you Firefox and/or IP Board. OK SO: I just beat Revelation's. I liked it! It was shorter than I expected, but after what is essentially the same game 3 years in a row, it might have been best for them to keep this one shorter. Though really, I know it isn't the best idea from a business standpoint, they might have been better off combining the plot elements/best parts from Brotherhood and Revelations and putting them into one game and released it sometime in between when the two were released (last June?). Ok time for real spoilers:
