Well now I just feel stupid. At least I didn't do anything stupid but read the article laugh at how silly it was and comment here. One of my biggest pet peeves these days is people posting incorrect articles/parody articles as fact on Facebook. I refuse to get into political debates on facebook.

I used to be subscribed as a kid to the Official Playstation Magazine, which came with demo discs every month. If it hadn't been for these demos I would not have picked up Oddworld: Abe's Exodus, Crash Bandicoot, 2Xtreme, Twisted Metal 2, and Spyro. All PS1 era games. PS2 era I stopped using demos as I was told by my parents that I would need to pay for my magazine subscriptions. I had a few, and got Sly Cooper because of a demo disc, but nothing else really. PS3/360 games I have bought a few games because of the demos. Castle Crushers, Shank, Uncharted, Infamous, Burnout Paradise, and a few other games. I'm pretty big on try before you buy, so I am constantly downloading demo's and checking out the games. I don't think they are necessary to sell games, but if your game hasn't grabbed my attention or seems to have some bad press surrounding it (Army of Two, really enjoyed the demo people seem to hate it though) I probably wont buy it without trying it first.

The Elder Scrolls has some amazing lore, watching and reading about the MMO, they really seem to be dipping into it and really bringing forward some really great stuff. That trailer, however, does not use the strengths that the series has, nor does it really give you an idea of what you are going to play during the game. Without reading anything about the game, I woud be asking "Who are these three people and what do they want with that tower they just all sieged?" Nothing really lets you know there is a three faction war, which really is the most interesting part of the story of the MMO.

Oh my word. That response thread! When somebody uses the term "real language" and refers to "American" I automatically assume its a joke, one that I laugh at on a regular basis. The fact that you go by Jesus Christ on Kotaku makes it even funnier (because some bible thumpers believe Jesus only cares about Americans). There are levels of irony going on just by your name and making a simple joke like that. Its funny. Its pathetic that Kotaku comments have resorted to shit flinging instead of appreciating humor that is very well crafted...

i just got back from.watching gangster squad. i really enjoyed that movie, a little predictable but still really entertaining

I bought a new mouse. People are going to hate me for it, but I bought to use for both my work mouse and my mouse on my gaming desktop. I bought a wireless Microsoft Explorer Touch mouse on sale for $27. Works great.

A lot of my pro-gun friends have made this argument, which I think is just a silly argument. Of course the first family needs armed guards, they are automatically a target because they are the first family. The Obama girls are more likely to be kidnapped, held for ransom and killed than 99% of America, just because they are the president's daughters.

I know people don't like Bing at all (frankly I like it more than google, but use google more than Bing). But they have this great desktop app that allows you to set your desktop to change to the Bing Daily images every day. I love having a new desktop every day, problem is they aren't high enough resolution in my opinion, but I don't care because I only have to deal with it for 24 hours before it changes.

I don't think HPs are terrible, as an HP user, they are terrible if you want to play games on. I had an Acer and had issues with that laptop from the get-go, but people seem to really like them. Best laptop brand I've seen for the price? Asus is good and Toshibas are pretty good.

I actually saw this and thought "ooh that will be great to use on my PC!" Then I saw the price. I was only interested in it because of the D-pad, but now I'm not interested at all.

Uncharted 2 had co-op! How is Uncharted 3's multiplayer anyways? I played the beta and it didn't feel as good as UC2 but that was likely because it was a beta. Got UC3 for Xmas, will let you know once I finish my second run through of UC2. I'm at the part where I have to rescue Schaffer. I wasn't sold on the multiplayer beta for 3 either, but I'm going to give it a shot anyways.

The God Of War Collection seems pretty neat! I love 1 & 2 and intend on playing the other games eventually.

I laugh at this. The top dawgs can't stand the idea of bankruptcy, then when they willing accept a shitty deal, decide they are owed better and want to sue. How many people did AIG screw over in the last 5 years? I bet you the fella's who are upset now were laughing all the way to the bank before 2008 when they thought they were pulling one over on all the people. I'm really not about distribution of wealth, but I do believe in human decency. Rich people hardly have any of that, and because of that I like to see them un-happy.

Last night I was playing with a friend, and we joined a private server that said "No SKS/AS VAL". I want it to be known that I believe that restricting what guns players can use is just DUMB. I hated the USAS with Frag rounds a while back more than anything, but I did not like servers banning the use of them. I can play around and still do well when there are overpowered guns in the field, theres more to playing the game than having the best gun. Anyhow, I decided that I was going to break his rules until I got kicked out, because I hated the rules. My friend said that made me pretty much a Jackass. I felt kind of bad because I agreed with him, that is until the server owner killed me, revived me, killed me, revived me (which I declined the second time 'round). Then he sent me a message saying that he was being nice and if I was on the other team he would have booted me. At that point I felt more compelled then ever to use those guns, because he was just a dick. Does it really make me a jackass when I refuse to play those rules on a private server? Sometimes I don't know the rules until I chose to play, and if there are rules in the description I avoid those servers. BTW Where are all of the official DICE servers?

Agreed about the size. I bought my desktop and its almost as tall as my entrainment unit itself. The case is almost up to my knee! Its enormous and I don't know where to put it aside from right next to my tv stand. I got used to just letting it sit there and ignoring that its right there, but it is seriously way too big.

I actually do use Over watch and try to keep my soldiers in close range. I think its just this map the enemies are spawned in the building right infront of where my dudes get dropped off. I might have to just take this mission as a loss and move on. I wish I had a save that was not so far back

I got frustrated with the game, and had to put it down for a while. Every mission I went on I would make one move and alert somewhere around 8 enemies, who all got to shoot and kill my players before I could even move them all on their first turn. I'm tempted to quit, and start an Iron man game. I want to play it on Iron man mode, but I can't stand not winning. I think If I go into expecting to not win I might be OK. Damn do I love this game though.

When you consider that you can plug this into a TV and play it as an Android console, you now have something that can compete with the Ouya, but not the other way around. Ouya may not be portable like this, so in some terms the Ouya cannot compete, but this can still compete against the Ouya.

Stuff like that is why I love the super extended special edition movies.

Just bought Witcher and Witcher 2. Both for under $10? How can I say no?
