  1. I know every single news outlet has said this, but its amazing the kind of dedication RDJ has put into being Tony Stark. It really appears that he loves being part of the MCU
  2. I can't wait to jump into this. I'm waiting for the PC version though. I already beat the game on the PS3, but I got too much money and spent it too liberally from rockstar and I want to start a new character online, which I'm waiting until the PC version. Getting free money in a game that is all about working your way from the bottom to the top kind of pulled me out of it. I also really want to play this game First Person.
  3. Updated trailer, Honestly I like it more this way http://youtu.be/PKX-0rijcqs Edit: I've had a shit day, and I've given up on trying to figure out how to embed the video
  4. Transistor. I didn't know what to expect, but at $7 on sale I gave it a shot. So far I'm really digging it, more than Bastion.
  5. Of all of the steam machines, Steam Link makes the most sense to me. If its relatively in-expensive then it should be the option most existing PC users look at. Until Steam OS really takes off, I don't see the point of having a steam machine AND a PC at the prices they are asking for most of those machines. I do want steam os to work out though, I love the idea of modding games but having a console like experience .
  6. I found out that Instagram has a tilt shift option! I'm now going to take so many traffic photos and make them look like miniatures.

  7. I want a 3D printer so I can print out space ships, action figures, and other things I wish I could have

Can they print things out of soft/rubbery materials? I need to know for science.

  8. I don't know if this goes under US politics, but I just found out about "SPICE" or synthetic Marijuana. Here are the negative side effects You know what would keep shit like this from your teens hands? There is this herb that some people talk about, it harms the body less than the legal cigarettes and the legal alcohol. Yes thats right, I am talking about Marilizing legajuana... whoops. Legalizing Marijuana. Sure its unhealthy, and brain rot are things you will notice from people who abuse the herb, but I don't think anyone has had a heart attack because of it. I don't really care if people use it or not, as long as its not in public places that can effect others (like on the streets or inside most enclosed buildings). What I do care about is wasting tax payer money on a 'drug' that is no more harmful than things that we already have legalized. People are going to get high whether the drug is legal or not, but if you make it legal at least you wont have people putting together a synthetic substitute that is way more harmful for the same effect. Its just silly that we have to deal stuff like SPICE, made legally, exists when the actual product is way less harmful to the human body.
  9. I wouldn't feel bad, I just can't watch anything that has to do with sever mutilation and physical harm. I will never ever watch a Saw movie or anything like that. It will make me throw up. Less from the gore and more because I would in no way be able to be a strong enough person to endure those kinds of pain while conscience. I also struggle watching movies where there is mass panic, that scares me the most.
  10. Django Unchained. I haven't seen it 100% yet (finishing it tonight) but holy hell did I not expect something like a Tarantino film to affect me in ways that Pulp Fiction did in my younger days. In my schools we've learned about slavery in America, the horrible things we did to people. I've known about hot boxes, sending the dogs to people, and all the way to treating them as property rather than humans, but until I saw this movie I didn't know how disgusting I find it. I knew I would not like it, which is why I refuse to watch movies like this, but I like Tarantino and I've heard amazing things about this movie so I gave it a shot. I am appalled that this is actually a pretty realistic representation of some of the worst lives these people had. Its really hard for me to see how human beings were treated back in the day, and the biggest problem was that at the time, black people weren't even considered human beings, which is way worse. Anyhow good movie, something that is making me really reflect back on my understanding of the past. Maybe not the intent of this movie, but its having that effect on me anyhow.
  11. I have confidence that with Kevin Feige at the helm of Spider-man, it will come out halfway decent. No worse than the first ASM in the absolute worst case. The real problem is that Sony is 100% in control of the films that branch off of Spiderman: Sinister Six, Venom, Black Cat, and many more. Those movies will have the Spider-man from the MCU in them, and Sony can flop them just as badly as they did ASM 2, or do as well as they did with SM2.
  12. What is going on here!?! Most Marvel news tends to follow up here almost instantly. One of the biggest news that the MCU has accomplished since creating the MCU happened yesterday, and nobody has said anything!?! This is crazy! Sony and Marvel finally sealed the deal over Spider-Man. He's going to show up in the MCU and they've made room for him by moving Thor 3, Black Panther, Captain Marvel, and the Inhumans back to give Spider-Man his own movie in their universe. They will recast Spider-man (I would like a younger Peter, or better yet Miles Morales), and 'reboot' the franchise once again. I'm hoping a reboot doesn't include his origin. I didn't think Sony would do it, I thought they would've been stubborn and would decide to build their Sinister Six movie moving forward from the flop that was The Amazing Spider-Man 2. If Marvel can keep the quality train running full steam ahead we may actually finally get the right Spider-Man movie, something along the lines of a movie with the visual quality of the final fight scene in ASM 2 vs the Rhino, you know the one that cut to credits right when you said "why didn't the movie look like this the whole way through?"
  13. I was hoping it was a return to formula from before the first movie :/
  14. Dawn of the Planet of the Apes. Just a good fun movie that doesn't 'tell' anything. It shows the emotion of the characters, which is pretty phenomenal considering the main characters are computer animated apes.
  15. Joystiq and Massively are shutting down. I always thought they both did a good job at keeping the sites integrity through out the times. :/

  16. News letter came out today. Building capital ships and stations? Hell yeah! http://us2.campaign-archive1.com/?u=dcbf6b86b4b0c7d1c21b73b1e&id=53c2aa5471&e=750ae714ee
  17. My friend keeps asking if he should get it, my answer to him is "if you can not wait to play a space sim, then yes. This game is solid, but if you're in no rush wait until Star Citizen comes out, by then either this game will be more fleshed out or Star Citizen may be the game you actually want to play" I honestly bought into this game because I was looking at Star Citizen and got super giddy, then I looked at this game and it was in beta and I could play it right then if I wanted to.
  18. I bought into it in August. My impatience for this game crashed my computer. I love it, but I hadn't played it since release because sometimes the game can be really thin. If you are interested in a sandbox space sim, this game is the best option right now!
  19. I'm pretty stoked. Mostly because of masteries. I can't wait to learn new weapon skills for my guardian!
  20. Guh I so badly want a surface pro, but in no way need it what so ever! Wonderful desk set up, looks clean!
  21. My EA account was hacked so someone bought Fifa 15 with Singapore Dollars, now I can't log into battlelog to play Battlefield because I have been banned, and someone stole my debit card info, all while I was out of town. At least I had fun this weekend.

Thanks Thrusday. I got it all sorted out. I didn't have two-step set up initially so I had changed that. It was my bad. My card number was stolen from a gas station they think so the two things are coincidences. All is well.

Hmm, I can't add two-step verification to my Origin account because I have absolutely no idea what my security question answer is.

  23. Had a friend of a friend who works at Disney who saw an early cut of the movie. He says its looking to be better than the first Avengers. I don't want to fall into the hype train, but it sounds good!
  24. My car finally arrived today. I'm picking it up and I can't be more excited than I am right now!

  25. I'm not sure if this belongs in this thread or somewhere else. http://spinoff.comicbookresources.com/2015/01/05/vaughn-says-people-have-had-enough-of-nolans-superhero-style/ Essentially Matthew Vaughn, director of Kick-Ass, says that the dark gritty super hero movie is a thing of the past. I'm not sure I agree, I mean clearly Marvel has shown that we can have light hearted superhero romps, but I still think there is room for a gritty superhero movie. Not every movie needs to be like the Dark Knight Trilogy, but I welcome a good gritty superhero movie along side our Avengers movies.
