      MGS4 is amazing. Its a good game if you havent played the past games, but you wont appreciate it nearly as much. You COULD read the wikis to catch up on the storyline, but its an entirely different thing to experience them. I hope you get some money soon and get the HD Collection. If you liked MGS1, youll probably like the others.

      3's definitely the best game. But they're all great experiences; and except for MGS1, much better with repeated playthroughs.

    I'd like to say though, if you've never played mgs2, one of the characters explains everything that happened in mgs1.

    I think the controls are fine. Plus, Peace Walker plays like MGS4, which uses a more current control scheme. To be honest since MGS2, controls havent really gotten much better. You can run and shoot nowadays in most games. Thats about it. Hell, you can run and shoot in ALL MGS games, you just cant aim. It kind of makes sense when you think about it, in real life situations thats how itd be. I doubt Kojima did it on purpose though. I just really cant side with you about the manual thing. I dont think games need manuals anymore. Especially these 3 games.

    Yeah, everything is fullscreen and 60fps. It also has some newish textures, mostly in facial hair and text.

    Umm, I cant imagine anyone buying this collection who hasnt played MGS1. If not, you can always get it from the PSN store. If youre on 360 though, you fucked up and have to read the Wiki. Your fault really. I also dont really think anyone reads those manuals. Theres a manual inside the case already. Im guessing theyre just there for historical purposes. Not to mention that all 3 games have tutorials. Shit, MGS2 has 2 tutorials, one for Snake and one for Raiden. As for the cutscenes, you can choose between fullscreen and letterbox.

    Im neutral on Home. I dont dislike it, but I feel I have no reason to use it. Ive also thought long and hard about what it wold take for me to like it, but I cant come up with anything. I guess its just not my thing. My batcave is pretty awesome though.

    Trust me. It adds it to your wallet. Video unlimited doesnt seem to have its own way of making transactions so it uses psn.

    I use Can You Run It all the time and it ALWAYS says my card is incompatible with pretty much every single game. I still try it and it seems to work with pretty much every game. Kind of shitty. As a simpleton, this kind of thing makes me weary of spending money on pc stuff. I feel like pc guys will never understand how hard it is to truly figure out pcs. You guys just seem to kind of...know. Its like people who cant understand people who cant swim. It seems crazy to them.

    As a pc noob, I never understood video cards. When I look at game requirements itll say what cards, but there are tons of cards. How do you know YOUR specific card is similar to the ones named? Do you have to go look it up too? Also, isnt that a fucking hassle?

    To be quite honest, Sonic games really need to stop starting out easy and they need to stop using Green Hill Zone as the first level. The last couple of Sonic games Ive played always start like that. Its not the same layout, but its the same level. I never got the praise of Sonic Colors either. It felt like all I was doing was holding forward and sometimes jumping. Even Sonic & Knuckles wasnt that way. Shit, even Sonic 1 wasnt that way. I played the main Sonic games on my PSP last month, so its still fresh in my memory. Out of all the Sonic games in the last few years, I still prefer Sonic Rush and even that one had its problems. Maybe the creators of these games have a hazy memory, but Sonic did platforming. A LOT of platforming. You actually had to stop to jump around and find your way through some of the levels. And you know what? Yeah, ive only played the demo of Generations and I didnt even finish the second level of Colors, but that's not my fault. These Sonic games need to stop being so damn sad and linear in their first level. Sonic 1's Green Hill Zone had more platforming and overall needed more thought than any of the recent Sonic games. That to me is a problem. Holding forward isnt fun. Simple as that.

    I cant afford the MGS HD Collection this week. :( Ugh. Only thing I could possibly do is sell some stuff, but every time I do it I often end up regretting it.

      I can definitely sympathize with that. I could probably grab it myself, but combined with Uncharted 3 and AC Revelations next week, I would be broke as shit if I did. So I decided to wait until next month since I've played MGS 2 and 3 to death anyway.

       

      Pretty sure there's nothing coming out next month anyway, so at least it'll give me something new to play.
