I got the same way...especially when it comes to my phone as well as my kindle. I was anti-texting/smartphoning/ifroging/etc. Now I'm a zombie like everyone else.

I think quite a few are neat. I'd probably be open to a few point n clicks on tablets too given they tend to use a mouse aka a finger.

I really like that controller. Though it's funny that somehow Sony made a sleeker and more "adult" looking system than the MS did this time around. The One and its controller and its camera look way more like a toy than the PS4 and it's accessories. It doesnt matter and it shouldnt matter, but it's weird. MS has always tried really hard to distinguish themselves from the old game industry. Shit, it's called "X" Box for god's sake.

Assassin's Creed 4. Awesome game and I gotta say, I really liked the story. Simple and straightforward. The present day stuff was pretty interesting too. Im curious as to where that's all going. I hope we get another Edward game though, like we got with Ezio.

I heard 2 out of 3 of these movies are good, so for $20 I figure it was worth a shot. On bluray of course.

I take it back, three was actually fun. Killzone, Killzone 2, and the two hours I played of the latest game were about as fun as shitting out Sriracha.

I was afraid the patch would mess up the fps, but its still as smooth as it used to be. And while this AC is definitely the best one since Brotherhood, did all those games force you to do side stuff as part of a main mission? This game is doing it like crazy. That diving bell mission was so tacked on. As far as I can remember, only Revelations forced you into the bomb crafting and the tower defense thing. The other games never made you do the side stuff if you didnt want to. Its kind of annoying.

Online options in most videogames are always so wonky and weird. I dont understand why Lego Marvel doesnt have online co-op, only local. It seems any time I want to play online theres no online co-op and every time I want to play local multiplayer, theres no such thing. Thats also what bothered me about Dead Space 3. It would have been awesome with a friend playing together int he same room.

Im pretty biased against the Xbox, but I think that hardcore gamers are underestimating the Xbox One. Im sure it's going to sell really well. Maybe even better than the PS4.

It'll probably still do well among the 'general public'. MS made great gains with the 360, considering where the first Xbox stood. Definitely can't see it beating the PS4 though.

Not to be a dick, but the 360 platform didnt dominate for most of it's lifetime because it's fans were knowledgable and had some kind of dignity.

Most people dont follow all this shit. Some of them dont know, they just know the brand and thats good enough for them. others here second or third hand rumors. Often mixed to meet the needs of the person telling them.

It's strange that reviewers and gamers both hate almost all fps campaigns, but no developer tries to fix it and give us something also like the half life series did. I know multiplayer is what most fps players want to be great, but a lot of us still care about singleplayer. Not to mention that goty lists consists of mostly single player ganes. You'd think they'd want some of that acclaim. The only games that I feel try hard to give you a good single player fps are the resistance and Killzone series. No one else gives a shit. That's why I vastly prefer tps.

I still cant believe how long it's taken for this "enhanced" port. They really shouldnt have tried so hard. Just make it hd, widescreen, add trophies and call it a day. Aside from "why does everyone's faces look funny?", I dont expect anyone to care too much about the enhancements. They also havent shown anything from the Vita version(the one I care about the most), which leads me to believe that it might not even come out in the US, or it might just be digital only, and/or its a shitty port.

dlc on PS4 is confusing as hell. I was finally able to download all my dlc right now, even if I thought I already had it. In my library it just says I have 4 addons, but it doesnt let me see which they are or if I can download them or anything. Anyways, when am I able to wear the "new" outfits from uplay?

It autorenews. You manually have to go to the "services" list and set it to not renew automatically.

Resogun is awesome. Anyways, Im not sure if it was a mistake or not, but once I used my 7 day trial from Killzone, it wouldnt let me use the 30 day trial from my PS4. I guess they cant be stacked?

So uhh, is there a downloads list anywhere of all the stuff you digitally own like on PS3 and Vita? I redeemed my AC4 and Killzone dlc on the Sony website hoping Id just go to my downloads list on my PS4 and download it from there.

You mind putting in a disc game and downloading something at the same time? Im curious if you can download in the background. On PS3 most dlc games were pending when you played a game. I hope they fixed it. Oooooor Ill do it myself when I get it in a few hours.

We had to get a new Uncharted. It just makes sense. Plus, they have 2 teams at ND now, so Im sure theyre cooking up something new as we speak.

No TLoU port announcement, but new Uncharted for PS4. Thank god. I really want to go back to those characters. I miss them. Oh, they did show a short trailer for the dlc for TLoU. Like I thought, its about Riley and Ellie. This wont end well. I really hope they port over TLoU to PS4. There are tons of 360 fans switching over to Playstation. Itd be good for those that missed it to play the GOTG. Plus, id enjoy silky smooth 60fps.
