I bought one shirt. It was $7, so was a good deal. If I remember correctly, I then went to Sears after that. The most fun I had though was when Mervyn's was still around. I got some sheets and clothes and all kinds of gifts for dirt cheap. I had a picture of the people I was with looking half asleep and miserable in line. I loved that picture! Sadly, the picture died with that phone. *sigh*

Excellent questions! But, I will only answer one. Whatever gets the hype out to get people in the store. I went to Old Navy one year, just to get a deal on a LEGO game that was released, where you buy $20 worth of merchandise and you get a copy of the game free. Only available to the first 60 people in the store, as they had 60 copies. Turns out I was person #63 in line.

WalMart ad is out today! Not that I would go, because I place value on life and humanity, but the deals are tempting. I need a replacement DSiXL, and those are $99. On the other front, they have some movies for cheap on DVD. I laughed when I saw The Green Lantern for $1.96 and The Smurfs for $4.96. LOL! The Green Lantern was a shitty movie! Brave is on Blu Ray for $8.96. That's a good deal. The Lorax is the same price, but it was a pile-o'-poop. They have the Nook Color for $99, as well.

Walmart never really closed last year. They had lines going out the door for door buster deals by certain hours. If I remember, the deals started at 8, another gang of deals started at midnight, some more at 4 am. That way, they had a steady flow of people. Radio Shack's deals are almost useless. I'm not even sure why they bother trying. KMart had a few interesting deals. Sears has some decent deals, but they are doing some crazy hours thing, where they open at 8, close at some time, open at 2am, close, then open at some other weird time. But, yeah, I'm waiting for Target, too. They usually have good sales on items I need/use. Old Navy is going to have some deal where certain Old Navy stores will sell you a Wii U for a penny if you buy $40 worth of merchandise. However, those stores are limited to 3 per store. Once they are gone, that is it. The line for Old Navy is usually forming very early, so I probably won't go there this year.

For TCP, a tweet from the guys at Bethesda: "To update: we’re also close on new Skyrim content for PS3 and PC." One of their employees posted and the rest of the official twitter accounts for BGS re-posted. Looks like PS3 content really is about to drop.

I'm done for a spell. I may start up some seeds on Thanksgiving weekend, as the kids should have some fun planting some carrots and spring veggies & fruits. My rosemary plant up and died, too. But, on the brite side, my lemon tree is doing fantastic! Another bountiful year coming in January. And, my tangerines are starting to turn colors, so those should be ripening here pretty quickly. On a fresh vegetable theme, we bought 6 pumpkins this year: 2 for carving, 2 for the pumpkin puree (pies), and 2 for the seeds. Last night I cut up one of the ones we were to puree. The texture was too soft, so I just harvest the seeds from it for roasting. YUM!!

I got a call yesterday "We are calling about Prop 30". I said, not really recalling what Prop 30 was about, "I know that one. I'm totally against it!" The person stuttered and said okay and hung up the phone. Quite fun!
