Food for thought: I've often thought that this show was more about what is in the imagination of a child than a reality, as things get too weird at times. To me, that is the only thing that makes sense when I think about the characters. Then, the question becomes more about whose imagination would it be? A boy's? A girl's?

"Overseas" is often used as a non-literal term for "outside the US". Not in the military. When you are stationed "overseas", you are stationed in another part of the world. I have never heard that term used for any country north or south of us.

So, we had two VPs who didn't fact check and showed us a few things about themselves: Mainly, they showed us we don't want either of them to be president. Here are some recent observations: 1. I know a person who voted for Rosannne Barr, doing so as a protest vote for such shitty candidates. 2. LiLo is supporting Romney, which is actually making me cringe for Romney. 3. Canada has now relocated to "overseas".

I saw the preview for Wreck-It Ralph. With all of the gaming references, I'm going to see this movie in the theaters.

@Spork: I'm not a Raiders fan. I'm a Chiefs fan, but I used to get game tickets to whatever sport I could see locally (as local as a 3.5 hour drive is). And the Raiders are more fun to watch than the 49ers. The fans are only rowdy when they win. Otherwise, they are pretty dull, which makes being at the game rather dull. And, who drinks wine at a football game? Seriously in bad taste. Anyway, according to the rule book, the NFL has the right to overrule a win if the outcome of the game. However, in a statement released today they said that the refs got the call right (WHAT THE FUCK WERE THEY WATCHING!), and the outcome stands. Goodell is solidifying his legacy as someone who has tarnished the NFL. I wonder how much longer the owners are going to put up with him.

I found myself rooting for the Seahawks, despite laughing at them at Raiders games for years.

The Pack don't have an owner to stick up for them. This is really going to bite balls. They need bettter representation in the NFL.

You need to feel outraged. Every game has been ugly with the play calling. This one just happened to be the final play of the game. The NFL has tried to sweep this under the rug, but not after this. There is no quieting the teams after this. The Packers front office is probably lobbying on the phones right now.

I agree with this for the most part. Watch 'The Seven Samurai' with it's subtitles. As a film, dubbing would take too much away from the seriousness of the situation they are in. It's not a comedy, which is where my opinion differs. Bad jokes dubbed just have a certain likability factor I can't get from subtitles.
