Started watching the Papa show. Took a turn for the dark the last few minutes of episode 2 lol edit: Just finished it. I gotta say that over-all it was an ok show. I can't believe I'm gonna say this but its biggest fault is focusing more on the happiness of the little girls and less on the drama. In fact there was very little drama. I mean this is a story about a freshman in college having to all of a sudden take care of three little girls after the parents die. Come on people.It could have used scenes like the MC crying over the sister or him struggling with the responsilibities, but the majority of the show takes place in the summer and it doesn't really show him balancing out college with work and taking care of these girls. It really lacked on the drama department. Not to mention it has a perverted fatass lolicon character that you know is there because it's an anime and it needs to have it, ruins the atmosphere. I think Usagi Drop did a better job with this. In fact besides the arc in Usagi Drop when the little girl grows up and has the hots for her dad it was perfectly fine. Anybody know of any good dramas that don't entirely revolve around romance but more about family members dying and trying to move on from there?

Like I said the comic is decent all the way till 95 or so. That's around when the first major story arc that was the driving force for the comic ends. My favorite character, besides Bigsby, was Little Boy Blue. He's a bamf

It's actually a pretty fucking great comic... until about issue 90 something. Basically once they introduce the new story arc/new villain it got crappy. Maybe it gets better but that's where I stopped. Basically imagine Once Upon A Time, if it were actually good. In fact from what I hear the OUaT channel was trying to make Fables a tv show, but when they couldn't get the rights they decided to make the fruitier version. If you don't know what the premise of the show and comic is: fairy book characters forced to live in real world in their own little city. Where it gets interesting is seeing different depictions of what you'd see in children's stories. Bigsby Wolf is a detective/badass. Snow White is a cold-hearted "ice queen" for the beginning of the comic. Prince Charming from most princess stories is basically one guy and he's this womanizing asshole who ruined basically every woman's opinions on men [including Snow White, at least until Bigsby].

Watched Working. Best character is the one that is the exact copy of Sanji. Bad side is main character is not good enough as a driving force. Also there is zero to very little character development.

I don't think VP3 could even save Rare. I mean if they gave one of their most demanded titles, Killer Instinct, to another studio to develop maybe that's saying something about the confidence Microsoft has for Rare for anything that isn't Kinect/avatar related.

If by Sony learned from their mistakes you mean both positives and negatives to consumers then yes I agree. Let us not forget they are putting online play behind a paywall. Sure it's a very sexy paywall that if used right is well worth it, but a paywall it still is. The power of the cloud. I don't know i had to say it.

I bought both of the Viva Pinatas and Banjo Kazooie Nuts and Bolts. I had fun with Viva Pinata for all the 1-2 weeks I played it. Nuts and Bolts I basically stopped playing once I built the vehicle I wanted. Rare has the technical talent to make a proper game, they just don't have the management or the leadership. It's a shame because they get a lot of crap but you know something is wrong when all plans are chugging along for Banjo Kazooie 3 and somebody in management says "nobody buys platformers anymore. Let's instead make what amounts to lego cars without a proper emphasis on competitive multiplayer. People love those" I remember Grant Kirkhope talking about it in the Guest Grumps episode. He says he was part of the team saying that wanted to make BK3, but that at the end of the day they didn't have enough support to make it. God it really is a shame.

Is it a question of not liking PS exclusives or actually liking Xbox ones? Let's be honest here: Forza- most recent one seems to be a bit forced and they're brought out a bit too consistently where the novelty has worn out for me. Not to mention a racing game is not a system seller and never will be for me [and if I had figures I'd assume for most people too]. Halo- This one is I guess up to you. Personally Halo 4 seemed like a fantastic game but, as something I never imagined would happen, Halo has lost its flavor. It's no longer the go-to console shooter for most people and with my trend of disliking most games where the multiplayer is its bigger appeal I'm done with it. Remedy- These guys I'll miss even if their games weren't 90+ ratings. Lionhead I won't even talk about, neither will I talk about Rare. Both have seen way better days. I was an xbox/microsoft fanboy up until the end of high school. My tastes have changed and I'm sure they'll continue this route. All to you if you enjoy xbox exclusives more, those days are long gone for me.

Ethan: I'm getting sucked in by Destiny. Waiting 3-4+ months should be enough to know whether there are issues with the console. Knowing Sony it should be fine. But if MS is really overclocking the Juan then people really need to wait.

All I know is that I'm tired of seeing Eren being the damsel in distress. Jesus they even mention it before this recent arc how they always have to rescue him. I'd like for him to kick some ass besides that one time.

I understand the manga and anime want to emphasize how many cool side characters they are, but I feel they're doing it at the cost of making the main characters grow. Like I said Eren has been getting his ass kicked. The only time he put up a fight recently was with the aid of mikasa, even if supposedly he's supposed to be great at sparring. To be fair

In the discussion of HDD's, I can't remember but I can swear Sony mentioned the PS4 will allow for interchangeable harddrives as it seems to be just a regular laptop one. If that's the case you can buy a 1TB hard drive and install it. My issue is if changing the hard drive voids the warranty.

After I catch up with The World God Only Knows, I might only have one more major Moe show I haven't seen [outside of Madoka]. Then I'll have to watch it. Good thing is that I'm 60 episodes away from catching up/finishing with Gintama and then I gotta wait for the film which is apparently an ending to the anime.

I mean I like Eren even if he gets his ass kicked by everybody [to be fair Naruto got his ass kicked quite often early on]. Mikasa has too much of a following to the point I'm creeped out. There's no comedic character outside of Sasha, and comedic characters tend to be my favorite so maybe my potato girl love WILL end up being love for my favorite.

Maybe she had a following with moe-guys who think kawaii as shit can lead the show, but no thanks for me. Dante lead the show for me.
