  1. Yeah any episode with no Korra has been great. At this point just kill Korra after she does her thing this season, then have the adventures of everybody but Korra.
  2. So with Watch Dogs and Drive Club delayed, is there ANY point to getting the PS4 prior to 2014?

So apart from Killzone, Flower, Indie games, Remote Play, Resogun, superior AC4, buyers remorse and Knack, what have the romans ever done for us?

  3. Chocolate Milk comes from black cizzows yo, ya feel me homie?
  4. Yep that seems like his mission by far. Speaking of this episode, I liked the humanoid Momo-looking character. "I am proud to call you my friend....Stinky!"
  5. Yeah. Maybe his goal is to kill/purify him though. We'll have to see. I will give something to this season Korra though, it has really expanded the universe quite a bit. I mean the first show with Aang and first season of Korra never really covered the origins of bending or spirits, so that's a definite plus for this season. Again if you ignore all the uninteresting civil war plot. It also looks like Korra is done with the whining/crying for now and unto an actual mission.
  6. Wan Aang is stll my favorite, but I'm a sucker for tragic stories and rags to riches, so Wan is now a very close second. I think these last 3 episodes (counting this one as 2) have been the best in the season by far. If this quality keeps up then it'll make up for a very lackluster opening 2-3 episodes.
  7. If somebody called me a spic and I knew they weren't kidding around I'd get pretty pissed. As to African American vs Black, I remember reading a study where when asked what they preferred being called "Black" was largely dominant, followed by African American. At the bottom of the preferred names was "you people" But yeah as to what is offensive, it comes to the individual person. Let's put it this way. While in college I hang out with quite a lot of colorful people (as in not in their skin, but their personalities). For them using words like "faggot", "jew", and "nigger" is not at all meant as an insult to whomever the word is/was primarily used against but for different reasons. We don't have a "we have a [blank] friend so it's ok" excuse, well except for me and another hispanic for hispanic jokes and one black friend currently working in Disney Japan, but everybody who has heard us use the terms understands that the use is more of the internet culture's use of the word. (in fact 99% of the use of the above words are for 'you asshole' or ar related phrase). We obviously try to not say these words out loud in public as somebody is bound to get offended but thankfully when they escape our mouths in public settings, it usually is met by laughs. We should of course respect each other to not say derogatory terms in a mean way or say them often, but I personally believe that getting offended for someone else more than the person him/herself is taking a bit too far. Maybe we're tired of the 'white guilt'. I hang out, as you can tell, with some of the most politcally incorrect people I know because I don't want to be treading through egg shells on every occasion.
  8. I prefer it when people call me beaner. Because it shows mutual respect and trust that we can insult each other with no politically correct repercusions.
  9. Samurai Flamenco seems to be steering to a completely different territory that I thought it was going to, and as of right now I think it has been very misleading to fans of the talent by making it seem it was an action show. It's slice of life. The posters, the teasers, everything made it seem like something it wasn't. It's by no means bad, but with shows like these where I'm not interested that much in the plot nor characters the thing that could carry me watching is the animation, and it isn't anything to write home about here. I'm willing to give it 2 more episodes past the 3 episode rule, but they better include something to draw me in by then.
  10. Anime I can whole-heartedly recommend this season: - Kill La Kill for the uniqueness. - Kyousougiga TV for.. well everything. It has been fantastic. It's confusing right now with 2 episodes in but not unbearably so, just hasn't answered certain questions which I'm sure will keep the plot going. This is by far my biggest recommendation this season. Anime I might end up recommending if they continue how they're going - Strike the Blood- seems like it'll combine action with a bit of romance, similar to Toaru Majutsu No Index. It has me the most pumped out of all the ones so far since it was the surprise of the season. - Golden Time- A slice of life romance set in college. That's already groundbreaking as it is. Also the creator of Toradora so it should have some prestige to its name as well. - Outbreak Company- harem about a guy that goes to a fantasy universe to.. sell anime/otaku shit. The premise sounds bad, but after the second episode and description it seems like he might be dealing with racism, war and other political stuff in this cutesy world. Sounds promising. - Log Horizon: SAO without the melodrama and very MMO styled. So far the consensus in other sites I talk anime with people is that it's nothing special but enjoyable. Like chips or popcorn. Those are my anime so far. Everything else I might be watching this season is either meh or bad. And while Pupa hasn't come out yet, the fucking teaser trailer fucking terrified me.
  11. The character of Mako, or whatever that girl's name is, is the epitome of trying too hard to be hilariously random. I'm not as big of a fan of the show as others online, but I'm enjoying it enough. The thing I like the most, besides dat sexy teacher, is how the armor has the same design as Gurren Lagann robot.
  12. Even if there is a showing near my area, this might be an anime film I'll have to skip. I have no one to go with (all my anime watching friends graduated already), and it'd be hard to not be embarassed for me to go watch a movie about magical girls. Sure it's a pretty dark story, but you try explaining that to the judging eyes of the normies.
  13. This was the main reason my friend was getting the PS4 and justifying it to me as a good buy, alongside Killzone. With this pushed to mid-2014ish this means I'll be getting the PS4 at the optimal time. I mean shit diggty dawg, Destiny? Infamous Second Son? Watch Dogs? Witcher 3? Dragon Age Nobody Expects the Spanish Inquisition? [insert title]? It's a shame Snoop is no longer called Dogg. Because if he told me all these games would be coming in the same year, I would swear he was lion
  14. And Madoka is Charlie? Brilliant. Some spoilers so don't watch if you haven't. Watch if you have seen it or don't care.
  15. Jesus that complicated ass mask. Why not just wear a Halloween mask Corvo? They're lighter.
  16. I don't know if he wouldn't care if something happened to them, but his priorities are entirely elsewhere. Say like Tywin with his kids.
  17. I used to hate Lester missions but my friend and I today found one that isn't halfbad. It's the Steal the Titan mission. The trick is to have at least 2 people. One stays near the airport and starts the mission, the other one flies the plane and finishes the shit. Afterwards the airport guy calls for the mission again, you kill the guys, rinse and repeat. It's not as fast of a method as Violent Ducts was back in the days, but eh you're still getting 10K per mission and a decent amount of experience.
  18. Next episode will probably be "OOOOOOOH I DONT KNOW, WHO AM IIIIIIIIIIIII" the episode.
  19. technically he was with Eska. And Ginger made it sound a bit today like if she saw how heroic he can be irl she might like him
  20. Eh I'd say it's impossible because it seems to me she was only interested in him the same way a child cares about a toy they really like, but then that yandere scene made it seem like maybe she didn't convey her real self very well.
  21. Like Bolin with the acting lol. I hope Eska and him eventually meet up and patch things up. Though I like yandere Eska.
  22. Asami has been the merciless beating bag for the writers for a while now. Funny enough since first season she was this confident, rich, kick-ass capable woman with a boyfriend and a future ahead of her and then they've shat on that completely. Could it be the writer's twisted humor to make her character grow? Fuck character growth. My poor girl. You are best girl in this show, Wally will hold you.
