Trying to watch Madoka but it isn't doing it for me so far. I dunno. Even if it's the Fate Zero director and the animation is fantastic it's not doing it for me. About to start episode 4. And it's not necessarily that the writing is bad, I just have never been interested in all-female shows, especially magic girls. This could be dark and broody but the fact the cast is all females just makes me not so interested. Not to say I'm sexist, it's just that certain tropes and relationships are never explored when it's all just one cast. The dialogue and situations are also clashing with what I expect in a battle anime. edit: i take it back it just got better

Bolin and Eska have been the saving grace of this season for me. Not their relationship, just the characters. My issue is their relationship came out nowhere, it lasted like 3 episodes, and then it was gone. I swear none of the writers are women because some of the writing they try for romance is borderline childish.

So I'm not the only one who has been dsappointed by both the animation and the story so far right? I understand the animation should get better later on as this was a different studio than the first season, but the characters and story are kind of dying on me. Korra is acting like a spoiled bitch. And I can't seem to hate on Mako like I did last season since he has to deal with all of this. She may not be a great air-bender, but she sure is a great hormone bender.

On 360 at least it's already past the not-playable state to the "playable with some issues" Once in a while you'll be stuck in a loading screen. Or the game fails to load the cloud. But being persistent is key.

I'd suggest that if you're not planning on killing people, keep 100 in cash to pay for passive mode. Giant middle finger to people trying to fuck with you.

So uhhhh... the warranty people damaged my computer so much trying to repair it they're paying me back via Amazon credit. Any suggestions in the $800-1000 dollar range in amazon? I was thinking of going with an Asus again.

It's program independent. Some close when you close the window and some don't. If the file menu is too complicated a right click on the dock accomplishes the same thing. Though in most cases you shouldn't need to close the application itself since unused RAM is wasted RAM. That's why I brought up Android.

I don't think the file menu is too complicated, I was just wondering since you said it works the same as Windows (where nearly all programs close when you hit the x).

I don't disagree about unused RAM, the issue when I was in high school was that those computers were really old and shitty, and they would quickly fill up their ram and start running like ass if you didn't make sure to actually exit each program when you were done.

I miss my laptop yo. I like my mom's laptop and all but doing anything on it is weird as I don't have certain...liberties.

Cool enough it was only a suggestion. Like I said the thread isn't active and people specifically want a GAF crew. I'd like to have more people from the forum/previous members join the crew though.

I only mentioned it to see if there's any interest. I made sure to mention that if they just want a crew to join they're welcome to join this one, chances are they want a specific GAF crew though. You know how elitists they can get.

Give me the heads up and I'll post the link in NeoGAF in the 360 GAF GTAO thread. We should get a sizable amount there. I can't think of any close friends to invite.

Are there really only 3-5 people we can get in this crew? Lol. I'd love to have at least 25 and among the people in here and ex-forum members we should have enough. Somebody who has Steam ask around (I would but I'm using my mom's computer so no Steam)

360 users seem to be having the biggest luck with playing

My biggest issues with this right now: 1. You can't just make a party with a friend. You have to constantly join and rejoin each other's servers. Unless you invite each other to missions. 2. The shooting range doesn't let you practice by yourself. It HAS to be with someone. And once you choose a challenge you can't change it.

When you create the group give us a link. Good thing the crew can be both ps3 and 360 users. We should have a decent amount, not huge but maybe 20.

Go ahead and create the crew. If we need members I could post a link on NeoGAF as there are 50+ people, for now, who won't get into the 360 crew. Not to mention the PS3 crew also needs people. If we want to keep it more private among PXOD'ers and close acquaintances that works too, I just have to add one guy I know to it.

that's like elementary physics though. To be fair the majority of Hollywood films I've seen with people flying through space they tend to have boosters of some sort to control their movement.
