    Dom Hemingway I think I liked this film. It's a little weak plot wise, and its got a stylised (which will put people off), but I thought Jude Law was magnificent, and it will probably get a rewatch at some point.

      Higher than 256gb usually doesn't perform as well. So that's the sweet spot currently.

      I was looking into getting an external (USB 3.0) SSD since I'm working on VMs and there's no option to upgrade my work laptop to have a native SSD.

      Threads not aboud SSD choices but it does have speed tests. I'm looking into getting the Samsung EVO 840 (500GB is around 249 USD).

    Looks like they're going for a Captain Reynolds feel with the main dude, that's the impression I get from this trailer at least which seems to have tried to broaden the films appeal. Still excited though.

    I need to get back into that game, the 5 hours I played of it were pretty enjoyable. Strikes me as the sort of game that'd be perfectly for a lazy Sunday evening.

    Fruitvale Station. It's a fairly simplistic 're-telling' of the last day of the victim of the Fruitvale BART Station shooting (Oscar something - his name escapes me). It times you can see the director adding additional moments into the film, the scene with the dog especially; but it still works for people who weren't aware of this incident. It left me annoyed and a little distressed. Certainly worth a watch, just don't expect a film that tells the story of this guys final day without taking a few liberties.

    I was really liking the INSIDE art style. It reminded me a little of Kentucky Route Zero, and i loved LIMBO so i'm totally hot for this game.

    As much as I'm enjoying it, it is just another Mario Kart game. I'd recommend waiting for a price drop, but we both know that's not likely to happen any time soon. I guess you may as well take advantage of their free game.

    Apparently i was the only one who enjoyed the Trine games, i loved them both in fact. Combat is a little mediocre, but i like the writing and the puzzle's are fun, if a little hit and miss at times. Also they look fantastic.

    This is probably a dumb question, but will they be doing anything with regards to Witcher 1/2 saved games? Will it be an entirely new story line (Wild Hunt aside), will your actions from the previous games have any impact on this one?

    I think they need to expand their character set. Don't get me wrong, there's a lot of choice, but who really wants to play as Baby Mario? Give me Link, Samus, Kirby and Pikachu already. Me and the GF played some online the other day; she's not a gamer at all (aside from the occasional iOS game) and so struggled a little. She couldn't get her head around drifting/bouncing over jumps, and this cost her a little time on corners. That aside she did okay. I'm a little disapointed that we didn't keep the Wii's co-op online play. I really enjoyed driving around whilst she threw shells at people.

    Sony's event falls at the perfect (ish) time for me as I'll force myself awake to watch the stanley cup final game 3 at 1am; so that worked out pretty well considering the time difference.
