The Tim Burton one was the first DVD I ever owned; bought it when I got my PS2. Thankfully it was a great movie, I wouldn't wanted a bad film to be my first DVD experience on a new console. Phew..

Mario Kart 8 Its another Mario Kart game. **They need to include an option to move the map to the tv screen. Aint no one got time to look down to the gamepad whilst racing.

I'll be totally honest here; I enjoyed the opening hour of The Last Stand. I understand why it's hated by everyone, but I enjoyed it for one reason or another. The Wolverine on the other hand was a complete miss for me. Again I can see why people would enjoy it, but for me it lacked anything that made me remotely interested in the story or its characters. *I acknowledged that The Last Stand has a fucking awful final hour, and that it mishandles characters like no ones business.

Strider I've somewhat recovered after spending the last hour of that game in a constant state of rage. Truth be told its a pretty enjoyable little thing. The boss fights are still a little hit or miss, and I had a few control niggles; but all in all I enjoyed it.

He's a new character, and he was a lot of fun for the brief time he was in the film; that's what I picked up anyway. I hope we see more of him in this universe. Inside Llewyn Davis My second viewing of this film and it still holds up. Will most likely end the year in my top 5 viewed films.

Lol. I'm not sure its possible to reveal that information without spoiling something. I will say that they're obviously going for that with this film, and it works. I'm sure there's still a few issues here and there, but on the whole it does the job.

X-Men: Days of Future Past ITS GOOD!! Praise the lord. This could have been an absolute disaster that would have ruined the good work they did with First Class, but i really enjoyed it. Characters all got a moment, the story was enjoyable, interesting and everything looked, sounded and was acted well. Bring on the next film..

Godzilla. I'll keep this short, as i think we've got the same opinion on this one. It was alright, i just wish the human stuff was a little less...predictable and boring.

Anyone picking this up today? Cant decide between the PC and the PS4 version myself. Figure I'll go PS4 as the PC will no doubt hit a Steam sale at some point in the coming 18 months. I've tried to keep myself out of the hype bubble for this game, but I loved Bastion and will probably end up picking it up today or tomorrow (providing the reviews are solid).

It should be said that i got this on 10% discount at a time when I actually had the money to buy it outright.
Had i had to load up the C/C to buy it, I would have waited.

To be fair, this has been a problem in animated cartoons for 50 years. Of course Prometheus is supposed to be a smart science fiction film.

Apparently you have to get the moon changing thing before you get either of the moon trigon things, I wasn't aware of this until after I got the Dark Moon Trigon. And as for changing the clock over, I could have done that, but I'd rather not have to.

Prometheus Second viewing for me on here, and it holds up pretty well. Again its fantastically shot, practically every scene oozes style and sexy-ness. The story itself is ho-hum. You can see they're reaching at points, but it does what it needed to do to get where it wanted. For those counting, this is how I'd rank the Alien Franchise so far Alien> Aliens> Prometheus> Alien3 > Fireflylien

X-Men Origins: Wolverine What was FOX thinking here? The action is enjoyable but the CGI is arguably some of the worst I've ever seen for a production of this size. Wolverines claw's look like they've been drawn on using Gimp and the story itself was all over the place. Urgh. Urgh.

Saints Row IV Yep, it's definitely a Saints Row the Third sequel/Extended DLC. Look, I only paid a few £ for this, so I'm not too bothered, but even with the addition of superpowers I'm already finding myself bored with this city and this game. It's not one i'll remember too fondly. Fun? yes, but a little tired too.

I put around 10 hrs into that and then suddenly stopped playing. I went from enjoying it to absolutely hating it inside half a mission. I doubt I'll go back for it at this point. I myself just finished Superbrothers: Sword and Sworcery EP on my iPad. It was all chugging along great until the game forced me to take a 13 day hiatus, thus totally removing me from the game and (upon my return) allowing me to totally forget what was going on. That aside, it's a joy.

'Alien3' was pretty forgetful, and with Resurrection to come, I wonder just how bad it can get.

I enjoyed Arkham Origins. Doesn't do anything new, but it's more of Arkham City and that was fine in my books.

Kentucky Route Zero episode 3 is now available for those interested. I've completely forgot what happeened in episode 2.
