  1. I've heard complaints that the game's AI (especially the Xenomorph) can be hit and miss, and that it get's a little stale after a few hours. If that's the case, I'll wait for a sale (same with Mordor). Seems like CA have put together a pretty solid first attempt though.
  2. I'd be up for VoG; but timing is a difficult one for me. I work nights (UK), and across the weekend (Thursday-Sunday's) so the best time for my (GMT) is Monday-Wednesday's at around 9pm. That'd be early afternoon for those of you on the West coast right? I could get myself up after midnight; but I'd need to know we'd be guarenteed a game if I'm going to spend one of my few nights off playing video games.
  3. Look at all of those Disney games nobody wants to play on PC.

Lego Marvel. Though that wasn't actually produced by Disney.

I kinda want to play the epic mickey series.

  4. Much prefer the aesthetic of Monument Valley, but in terms of game play I'd take The Room every time. Both are fantastic on a touch device though; shining examples of how to do games on that device well. And not an IAP in sight (maybe?)
  5. A Perfect Host. Fraser's brother knocks it out of the park here; he's magnificent. The film just goes on a little too long and has this ham fisted final 20 minutes that flat out wasn't needed.
  6. There are no words to describe how much I love Scott Pilgrim vs The World. I've seen it 4 times now, and I can safely say that it's my favourite movie of all time. Even Michael Cera is enjoyable.
  7. I've had the last 10 nights off from work, and you decide to do this on my 2nd night back. Whyyyyy Ethan, Whyyy! I'm free most of the day until Thursday at 4:00GMT, and then at any point Monday - Thursday next week. Can't do Tuesday afternoon or evening.
  8. Cancelling Netflix. Curse you bad internet!!

Because apparently it didn't come across: I was being facetious with that statement.

It's watchable, but I've watched upwards of 400 films in the last 18 months, 300+ via streaming; image quality is important to me.

  9. NHL15 and Destiny. NHL15 is thoroughly underwhelming, although I guess that depends on just how much you knew going in. I spend most of my time playing ranked matches online, and you can almost feel the game deciding who's going to win at any given moment. It's sluggish, the basic act of moving players around feels heavy; and lets not get started on the god-awful goaltending. I knew the game was lacking in value, but once again I find myself complaining about the awful PvP stuff. Fool me once EA...
  10. I've hit something of a wall in regards to levelling up my Legendary armour. Ascended Shards.. Currently I need like 20 of them. I'd rather not make a second character (fuck that I wanna play as my guy). I know about the daily challenges, but surely there's a more efficient way of getting that stuff.
  11. You know, I've not actually bought any armour or weaponry yet. It's all low level stuff so far, but I'm inching my way towards levelling up as a FWC member (same with the Queen stuff), I guess I'll buy some of that?
  12. You're a better gamer than I. I got maybe 4 challenges into that game before deciding it wasn't for me and running off with my tail between my legs.
  13. And this is why I'm terrified of playing with people who I don't see on a weekly basis.
  14. Got a few idea's for a couple of new ones on my arm; although I'm thinking it's best to get the larger one out of the way first in terms of spacing for the smaller ones. I've got a style, I just need to get the cash together.
  15. It is simply the way of the world. Have you seen Iron Man II?
  16. Seriously? Say what you want about the plot but from a technical level I think this film is fantastic. Some of the shots are simply stunning, and the acting is solid to great.
  17. Part II of BaS was the best part of that entire game. I enjoyed Infinite, but I wasn't sad to see it go either. Also it gets far to much praise for the way it handles social issues.
  18. Empty house for a week. You know what this means? Not eating, showering or getting dressed.

Thankfully I've gotta work; so I need to eat. That being said, I've got time off as of Monday, so...I'll be ordering in a lot.

  19. http://forum.pressxordie.com/topic/617-last-crap-movie-you-saw/?p=132525 In short: utter crap. My friend said he couldn't form an opinion or rate it because he's not sure what he just watched. Understandable, but to me that just means it was a waste of time and money. I can see where he's coming from. It's been two days and I'm stull unsure on it. The film goes from the sublime to the ridiculous at an insane rate. Scarlett Johansson was fantastic though, of that I have no doubt. ----- The Ides of March - Second time viewing of this, a film I severely undervalued on my original watch. It's tight, well scripted and maintains me interest from the very first minute. Fantastic, truly.
  20. Are you planning on beating Beyonetta before playing Beyonetta 2? I got all the way through the first game to the final boss, then forgot about it for 3 months; came back to it, totally forgot how to play and never defeated God or whatever the f*ck I was fighting. I'll be happy to get that black mark off of my ledger.
  21. Not a huge fan of Wes Anderson (Not that I don't enjoy his stuff, I just find them hard to love - I do appreciate them though..), but I adore this film. It had me from the word go. Lucy - So I'm very much undecided on this film. I don't love it, hell I might actually hate it, I just don't know. I think it was a bit of a mess, the character of Lucy was..not good, some of the imagery was baffling and I found the plot to be all over the place; but at the same time, I kind of enjoyed myself. I mean, what did you guys think?
  22. This explains why I've been getting emails from Amazon then. Thankfully I didn't change my order (as I assumed all copies of the game came with B1 as default). I mean; I guess I should be thanking Amazon right..?
  23. Am I the only one who thinks it looks like Chewie just accidentally followed through right at the end?
  24. The Novelist is going for less than £2 if you buy it direct from the dev. http://www.thenovelistgame.com/
