  1. I'm gonna need some headphones for staying up late for listening to music, and playing video games late at night (the single life huh? fantastic...), but I'm not sure where to start. I've got three main bullet points that need to be reached; Wireless (no wires - can figure the tech out later) PS4 compatible Works on my PC/Android based smartphone So, any recommendations? Budget isn't a massive worry. I'm prepared to pay up to £150 for a reasonable pair. I'm not an audiophile by any means, and I won't be walking long distances from where the audio is originating; at most I'll be 8-10 feet away from the console/PC. So as long as they sound okay and aren't too heavy and have a decent battery life, I'm golden. Help a man out..
  2. Forgetful as the story is, I did enjoy the films locale. Some of those night shots in London looked fantastic.
  3. How long before it becomes okay to pirate a film if it's not been released in your country. I really want to see this film, and I'll wait, but if 3 years after its initial release we still don't see a UK release, is it okay to go the pirate route? One guy was totally against piracy, which is..nice if a little too moralistic for my liking. Most seemed to be on the side of the argument that's a little more consumer friendly; we want to give you money for this, but you're making it practically impossible (aside from traveling abroad, or getting a foreign player, with foreign discs), to let me give you money, thus I'm going to download it.
  4. Had a big debate on twitter regarding this film yesterday. It's been out in Asia for like 2 years at this point, but only recently got a N. American release; a UK release is yet to be as much as confirmed, which sucks for obvious reasons. I'm not sure it's going to kill at the box-office, but all those in the know seem to think it's an absolute gem of a film. It'll come out over here, probably in very very limited release (i hear it got like 4 theatres in the US before 'blowing up' to 140), so chances are I'll have to hold off for a Blu ray release in the next..6 years. I'm willing to give them my money, why won't they take it?
  5. Gamestop (website) are actually selling it for £30 if you think that's a better deal? I've got it pre-ordered on Amazon cause I know it'll be here come Friday morning. Aint got no time to wait around.
  6. I'm getting my ass handed to me in Destiny 6v6. Granted, I'm not fantastic at these games, but I'm dying before i can fire a round most times.
  7. Something about a bad scientist trying to take over the world? Maybe a time paradox or something? I enjoyed that game but I remember next to nothing about it.
  8. What was that Shark-looking batman all about?
  9. I've not even looked at TWD Season 2 yet, and I doubt I will. I think I've had my fill for now, even a Game of Thrones game isn't interesting me. I'll play Wolf S2, but that's probably me done for a while.
  10. Honestly I kind of want Nintendo to stop making me buy new hardware at this point. I'm sure Sony would love to become an official partner for some of their first party games, just pull the plug and release something on different hardware; they'd sell all the copies.
  11. I finished the game about a month ago and I felt almost exactly the same. It really did cloud what was a pretty enjoyable experience.
  12. Hater [/jokes...] Nah, I totally forgot about that game. I wouldn't mind it being a retail title, provided its padded out. Truth be told I'm a little surprised it's not a 3DS game.
  13. I've not got a 'Backlog' as much as I've got a short 'to-do' list of games that I plan on playing before I allow myself to buy anything new. In a good month, its maybe 3-4 deep with new purchases, so I've always something new to play. I've noticed I tend to buy games in 2-3's, and never for more than £20 (on PC, Console games are a rarity for me). If I do happen to fall behind significantly, I'll usually find myself feeling the weight of the backlog on my shoulders, and totally stop playing at all, in which case I take a week or two, do other shit and come back fully recharged, ready to try something new. Then, if within 30 minutes of starting the game I'm not feeling it, I'll usually throw it into the 'Nope' category where it'll stay in perpetuity until 1)it earns redemption* or 2), will never be spoken of again**. *Xcom: Enemy Unknown **Antichamber
  14. It's been 10 years, but I still remember running through waterfalls the rain hitting my visor like it was yesterday.
  15. I want to talk to you all about a game called ZombiU. It was a WiiU Launch Title (haha, I know right..Wii U), but it totally grabbed me and wouldn't let me go. I know its not the prettiest game in the world, and it's gameplay can be a little tedious at times, but it might be my favourite 'Zombie' game of all time. I had a ball with it and unfortunately it looks set to die a lonely death on the back of poor WiiU sales. If they offered me a 2nd chance to play that game as new, I'd jump at it.
  16. When I'm not feeling myself, or life has got me down (happen's all to often now unfortunately), I don't find that I retreat into games. I've tried, but I find myself getting frustrated more easily, which in turn leads to to question why I'm even playing in the first place. I guess Super Hexagon is capable of filling the void, but even then I only play a few times before I've lost interest and decide to try and do something 'more' productive.
  17. I can't be the only one who has not interest in Mario Maker right? I mean...come on guys.. Anyway, Bayonetta aside, Nintendo isn't offering me much. I'll play Zelda, but even that probably won't be a day 1 purchase from me. Give me a new Metroid Prime type game though, and I'm all ears.
  18. I spent upwards of £200 in the cinema last year. Vue and Odeon mainly, with maybe 1 trip to Showcase in town. As much as I love film, I can't do that again; especially when I buy 1/3 of the films I pay to see again on Blu ray.
  19. Child of Light I think Ubisoft forgot to add in the fun.
  20. Binary Domain. No one played this game, but its a fairly enjoying 3rd person shooter with an interesting, if a little overdone central premise. Should be fairly cheap by now, so I certainly recommend picking it up. Also it's got a French speaking Robot in it that speaks English.
  21. That'll probably finish my participation in the Steam sale. Unless someone wants to buy me something....no?
  22. Fez. Too much game for me, I eventually got bored and now I've got no interest in deciphering puzzles any more. So that was fun.
