Whenever i see that show advertised all i can think is that the guys in post production went a little crazy on the saturation. Is it really that orange/bright in that part of the world?

Completely contradicting me previous post about the One X being my favourite phone of all time, i think i'll go down the Nexus Path next time. The One X was such a step up from my iPhone 4 that i feel a little more confident that i can handle a vanilla Android device now. So if and when Google/Samsung release a new Nexus i'll be in line.

I want a Hawkeye movie. There's just something about a Bow and Arrow thats uniquely cool. Also, Renner is a bad-ass. Back to Comics, has anyone read Chew? Picked up the entire Volume 1 collection (the first 8 comics i believe) for a few quid on my iPad, and i'm really enjoying it. I think X Comics has the first edition available for free, its well worth a look.

I should probably include AC:Revelations in this, but i've got absolutely no motivation to so much as look at my 360. PC and iPad it is then. Like Skoshuke, i've had Superbrothers: S&S for months (on the iPad) but i've only got half way through. I'll get that done sometime this week. That should allow me to focus on Metro 2033 on the PC and LA Noire. A game i started on release for the 360. The recent Steam sale has allowed me a cheap way back into that game. So not much, but its pretty much all i've got time for. Also, i suck at games.

If you've not played Rayman i can't recommend that enough. Without a doubt its my favourite Vita game so far. Loved every (sometimes frustrating) minute of it.

Not sure i'd class it as a guilty pleasure, but i kind of like Bruno Mars songs. Especially some of the more up tempo ones. The Lazy Song is my 'Friday Afternoon Song'.

I think we need to give some love to Guacamelee. That game is going to be awesome. The name alone almost guarantees it. Ish.

Just over a week in now, and the game i've spent most of my time on has been Trine 2. Its a little less in depth than the other games, and it looks fantastic. Loving the puzzle aspects of it as well, more so than the combat. So maybe in future i'll give Puzzle titles a bit more of a chance. That reminds me, Portal needs to be bought already. I've still never played that for myself. I've seen my brother play it, and i've played P2 but i've not tasted any of that sweet pie for myself. Is it true that P1 and P2 are in effect, almost completely different?

From what i'd gathered they were trying to build a separate universe based solely on the movie franchises, i might be wrong however. You seem to know more about it than i do, so i'll side with you. Saying that, i know they've got a Thor 2, Cap 2 and Iron 3 coming out in the next few years. No word on Avengers yet, maybe we'll here something about that at CC.

Honestly, I found that game to be a massive disappointment. It's fun for an hour or so but the repetitive nature of the missions killed me. I've not played on it in months. Metal Gear Solid HD Collection is selling for £20 on the PSN store right now. I'm mighty tempted to pick that up.

Episode 2 hit XBLA a few days ago, and i've got it downloading right now. Who's playing this?

Has anyone picked up Lego Batman? I think that might be perfect for the Vita. I've never been a massive fan of those games, but if i could play it for 20 minutes at a time on the train (or sofa), it could be a laugh.

And i think that villain is known for his Guardian stuff mainly. I'd also heard some rumours about it setting up the next Thor movie, rather than an Avengers 2.

Not a massive Soccer guy then? Understandable. My love of the Beautiful game has dwindled, and fallen off a cliff since i discovered i could watch live NHL hockey in the UK. Its been a very enjoyable 4 years since that discovery.

Marvel is set to announce a Movie for The Guardians of the Galaxy. Who's brushed up on that area of the Marvel Universe (a post i read said something about them being from 'outside' the actual 'MARVAL UNIVERSE'). This means that the end credits scene at the end of The Avengers was a bit of foreshadowing for both The Avengers 2 and a prospective Guardians movie. Or maybe they'll combine the two. I know this isn't Comic Book Talk, but i do intend to read this in Comic Book form, so maybe one of our members can enlighten me?

I've been downloading games via Steam all week. Its certainly easier than it would be to get the bus into town and back, probably cheaper too. I've got an unlimited download cap, the only downside is that my speeds aren't great. I'm usually running at around 2mbps, so in order to download a game i'll have to leave it on overnight. Its not ideal, but when i move house in a few months, a top rate download speed will be one of the things i'm looking for in a new rented house.

I think thats a bad contract. I'm not a massive fan of those long deals as it is, as players change. Look at Ovechkin for that matter, but not only that Crosby has had a series of concussion issues. I hope they don't spark up again, but who knows at this point. I guess in 13 years time we'll look back and be able to judge.

This is akwward isn't it. Couple of updates regarding the NHL. - Washington has appointed their new Head-Coach. Former Captain and soon to be Hall of Famer Adam Oates has been given the gig. This Caps fan is very happy with this move, especially after having to sit through hours of 'Hunter Hockey'. - Edmonton also has their new coach. Ralph Krueger gets his chance to take the Oilers back into the playoffs. And really, given that his team is loaded with top end talent, i'd be stunned if they aren't making a play for a playoff spot inside 3 years. Back to Washington. Dennis Wideman was traded to the Calgary Flames for a 3rd round pick, and Jordan Henry (?). He also agreed a new deal with the Flames @ 5 years/ $26m dollars. Good luck Dennis. I for one actually enjoyed your style of play. You will be missed. ---So i'm a hockey fan. Am i a one man army or do i have someone to talk Hockey with?

Quick question. The Spy DLC, is it literally 1 mission? I've done the SnakeRabbit part, got my 'sexy' suit and can't be bothered to go looking for more work. Also i've found all of the Travellers. That storyline is pretty tragic, hopefully we'll get more of those two in a future DLC.

Sorry to drag up an older thread, but i've been playing this game today and i love it. Its nothing like i expected, and unlike most shooters actually requires a little bit of planning. That being said, i've hit a wall and have no means of getting past at the moment.

Just had to set it up via the Nvidia control panel.

I've got a HDMI supported Monitor/Graphics Card, however when i try to connect the two all that happens is i lose everything on the display baring the desktop wallpaper. No Explorer, no applications, not even a curser. I'm totally lost.. Any help? I've got the display working, but now i have no sound. We're good. I've got it working. Feel free to delete this post.
