  1. Apparently they're in talks with Sony to bring it to Vita. Until (if) those talks are scrapped i'll get the PC version but from what i've seen, it looks like it might be perfect for the Vita.
  2. I fully expect to quit this game after an hour. I've heard its terrifying. And i don't do well with scary games.
  3. Metro: Last Light Rayman Legends Sim City Assassins Creed: Liberation + 3 Killzone: Mercenaries Tearaway Those are the ones i've gotten off the top of my head.
  4. I actually loved the combat system and found it to be a little more understandable than the second game. Granted i played them on different platforms but if you take the time to learn the system, it shouldn't be too big a problem later in the game.
  5. The Raid. Finally got around to seeing it and i loved it. Thrilling, Suspenseful and just down right good fun.
  6. Sup?

    1. MasterDex

I'd like to give a shout out to all the players from Antartica. You are the best!

    3. Waldorf and Statler
  7. Thats my next book. 3rd time reading for me. I love it. Currently reading 'And Another Thing'. Part 6 of Douglas Adams Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy Trilogy. It doesn't have quite as much charm as Adam's books, but the new author does a decent enough job. I'm about a 1/3 of the way through so far.
  8. Looper - One of my favourite films of the year. I've been waiting for it for so long, and it didn't disappoint. Warrior - Had my blubbering. A bit formulaic, but whatever, i loved it. Cocktail - I've no idea why i recorded this, but i did and to my great surprise it was pretty good. Very enjoyable. I finally understand why people in the 80's loved Elizabeth Shue. Back boob.
  9. Has anyone read the recent 'Deadpool Kills the Marvel Universe' series? Some people seem to think its the best Deadpool comic around, whilst some think its utter crap. I've not read any Deadpool, but i'm really excited about these.
  10. I've got the Book of Memories demo on download right now. So i'll give you my opinions after i've played a little of that. Honestly, i'm not a massive Silent Hill guy, but i'll give anything a go on that screen. Back to LBP. Its one of my favourite games of the year so far. I can't stop playing it. Looks great too. One last thing. I'm finally starting to notice some Vita ads on TV. In the last week alone i must have seen 7-8 Vita adverts for LBP and FIFA13. Thats got to be a good sign surely?
  11. I get that, but i'm still a little confused as to why there needs to be one?
  12. I like my corsets with more cleavage. Don't let me down Ubisoft.
  13. The Newsroom. I got through the entire first season in just about 6 days this past week. I don't know how i feel about the show to be honest. I enjoyed aspects of it, such as the character interaction and the production of the 'show inside the show', however some parts really got up my nose. I'll probably give it a second season, but i hope they tone down the America Ra-Ra aspect of the show. Maybe tone down Emily Mortimer's character as well. The actress is doing a great job but the character is flat-out annoying.
  14. I'm not sure you can. I've pressed, prodded, and flicked at the screen and buttons for a good ten minutes and nothing happens. Unless, maybe the colours only change in accordance to the colour that you use on the menu.
  15. That trailer had me grinning from start to finish. I was a little concerned but its things are looking a little rosier now. Still, its not the first instalment i'm worried about.
  16. I had no interest in seeing Dredd, however i hear its pretty solid as an action flick. I might make a double viewing of it along side Brave. Man on Wire - Fantastic documentary that plays out like a Heist movie. It documents the events running up-to and including one man's dream of tightrope walking across the World Trade Center's tallest two buildings. Amazing stuff.
  17. Can someone please explain just what exactly a CBA is? Looking over the Atlantic, the concept of having a season effectively cancelled just seems a little crazy. I don't think it could happen in any of our major sports. Why is there a CBA and why can not having one in place cause such chaos?
  18. Have faith. I think we'll see something similar to the NBA last season. Miss a few games or a month or two and then we'll see the groups come to an arrangement. Why they left this until a month before the deal ran out i'll never know. Idiots.
  19. Looks like the US gets all the great Vita deals. The best i've found in the UK is an expiring copy of FIFA Soccer for £15. Thanks retailers.
  20. Meant to respond to this earlier but phone acted up (well..more Chrome than the phone) I'd say a good golden rule before getting a platform is to have 10 games you want for it first. That way you're not buying it and having only a couple title for a year or so to play which would drive you off the platform pretty sharpish before it's matured, and also means you get to buy it post launch when everything starts dropping in price and the hardware more refined and stable. About the only reason to get at launch is for the "FIRST!!1!!" factor, not like it's a cake that'll go off, it can only get better as time goes on. Also it's worth holding on to wait n see what PS4 n Xbox 3 news crops up next year. It'd suck if your console budget was blown on the Wii U then something in the PS4/Xbox 3 really enticed you. You make good sense, however when it comes to new tech i for whatever reason, like getting on the bandwagon early. In hindsight, that phylsophue has probably cost me upwards of £100 on my Vita purchase however. So i'll probably hang fire until after Christmas. That GF has a Wii that she barely uses (as do i) and frankly the launch lineup isn't that impressive. Thanks for the thoughts. My credit card lives to fight another day.
  21. Lawless. I went in expecting a fair amount, and unfortunately it didn't deliver. Don't get me wrong, its an enjoyable film, but it feels smaller than i was expecting. A few characters felt hacked on and nothing really happens. Still i'd recommend it for Tom Hardy alone. He was again, fantastic. Just a tip to anyone who does see it. Prepare to suspend your disbelief. It gets a little crazy at one point.
  22. I've thrown myself into The Witcher recently. According to Steam i've put in about 23 hours in the last 2 weeks. Quite surprising considering i really wasn't feeling it at first. However much like its sequel, if you take the time to learn the systems then its a great games. Very enjoyable and the combat is very nice indeed. I've just started chapter 3. I've been informed the final chapter is quite short, so i'm expecting to put about another 30 or so hours into the game before completion. Not too bad for a game i picked up for £4.
  23. My finger is hovering over the Wii U Basic 'buy now' button on Amazon. I can't decide if i actually want one, or if i'm just being caught up in all the pre-release excitement. Also my spending in 2012 has been insane, and i really shouldn't be thinking about flashing another £300 on a games console right now. However, Mario in HD. Damn that sounds good.
  24. Does anyone want to go halves on the F1 2-pack on Steam. £40.49 for two copies. Anyone?

  25. Looks like Europe is getting a PSone Classics sale. Honestly the list of games available is a little weak, but all of the Bandicoot games are on there as is Syphon Filter and Syphon Filter 3. http://www.playstationlifestyle.net/2012/09/04/sony-kicks-off-retro-games-sale-in-europe-tomorrow/ I'm a little disappointed by the number of Disney games on that list. Nothing against Disney, but i'm just not interested.
