  1. Huh, I can see the image just fine. Blu-ray collection of Scorcese films: The Departed, Goodfellas and The Aviator.
  2. The Hobbit. As someone who has never read the book, and heard it was a bit more 'kiddy', I was pleasantly surprised. I really enjoyed it. The 48fps stuff was a little jarring at first, but I adjusted to it rather quickly with only a few other minor instances of things looking odd. Everything about the film was beautiful and what wasn't 'beautiful' was really well-designed and animated. The action setpieces were wonderful and creative, plus it was all paced rather well. If anything, my only gripes would be... As for the make-up for Bilbo in the (fairly unnecessary) 'framing device' section, they did go a bit overboard in pulling back Ian Holm's forehead skin while the ten-plus years has only increased his jowls.
  3. Haha. Dude, it's a fucking parody of what happened a few (hundred) pages ago.
  4. I don't like the implications of all these new covers. Maybe they've put too much thought into the game. And what's with the poll? Can't they make their own minds up? Makes you wonder how scatterbrained the final game will be, especially if they can't even keep a consistent art style on the covers.
  5. ROGUE WIND!

The ship battles were awesome, the rogue winds were stupid. At least call it a gust or something so you don't sound like an idiot.

The game devs sound like idiots I mean, not HH.

  6. Get it! Loved that game, and if you like Theme Park and all that, you should like it. Though, I do recall using the cheat and making...Dream Hospital.
  7. Doesn't bother me, because he's still a pretty good voice actor. But it is funny when you do that first bit in Brotherhood. Climbing round ancient ruins with a blonde woman, cracking wise.
  8. I linked a thing on Facebook but this is the best bit.
  9. If only they could use Microsoft Sam. "MAI ROFLCOPTER IT GOAS SOI SOI SOI SOI SOI SOI"
  10. I guess a Samsung Galaxy S III counts (love it) And some more £3 DVDs: - Cyrus - Paul - Scrooged
  11. Seven Psychopaths. Like In Bruges, it's got a real sort of meandering pace at times but becomes even more delightfully absurd as time goes on. It sort of tries to explore and criticise certain film cliches but without completely abandoning them. Plus, Christopher Walken pretty much nails every line (like this bit from the trailer) and Sam Rockwell is equally fantastic in a different way. Not that the rest of the cast were bad at all either. Tom Waits was awesome, too.
  12. Exactly. I was always of that mindset and that's why Ethan was saying it balanced out. ...AND I WANT THIS DISCUSSION TO DIE ALREADY.
  13. Cracked myself up last night. Used the 'Lure' ability on a patrolling group of guards, but my assassin wound up running backwards and forwards like a Beep Test. So I kept interjecting, picking off the straggler while the others weren't looking, until no guard remained. Also, anyone noticed that when your recruits are injured (since they no longer die) and you walk over to them writhing on the floor, there is the option 'Close eyes'? Then they'll say something to the effect of "I'm fine, really".
  14. People who buy a CE aren't judging covers in the same way.
  15. I think Community hit its peak at the end of S1. Though, there have been some real standout episodes across the other two seasons.
  16. Forgot to mention my favourite line from a Justified episode.
  17. The episode that just aired was pretty good though. Kinda makes up for some of the other stuff this season, and I think there's something that should cause a little debate and discussion.
  18. It didn't even finish one. Have you been watching the latest season of Dexter, Vecha? It seems to be a bit more interesting and unpredictable (and far better than S5 and 6) from what I've heard; as long as you ignore the other Miami Metro cast members (Zzzzz). Serious developments have happened since next season is the last. Plus, it features Yvonne Strahovski.
  19. Ha, yeah, definitely give the next few episodes a go.
