Get a room! With that door. As part of the room, I mean.

It was a water-pistol! No cats were harmed in the making of my avatar. Oh, kitty got wet!

I'm sorry, Excelx2. Think that happens to all old cats; happened to our ancient cat a few years ago. Just have to remind yourself that they had a long, good life and no point prolonging their suffering.

Haha. Don't think that hadn't crossed my mind! Will probably wind up starting that next since it's a reasonable price. I was hoping maybe for some more...'niche' suggestions perhaps.

Since I have a Kindle I guess I could ask for some recommendations from you guys. Haven't been reading as much as I should lately so I'm probably a little out of the loop concerning stuff released in the last five years. In terms of what I like, it's skewed towards detective and noir-style stuff, possibly some fantasy as well. Also stuff like Catch-22 and A Confederacy of Dunces are good. Obviously, I'm open to all sorts of suggestions though. OK, GO!

Also hotcakes don't sell that well anymore.

True, but I actually found that less noticeable.

Hope no one looks too closely at the Harley Quinn DLC bit of the trailer... It's more of a blink-and-miss-it thing though anyway...

I chose Roche because he seemed alright. I actually trusted him because I got a letter from Thaler telling me I should, and Thaler seemed on the up-and-up in the first game (beyond the fake identity and all...). Also, Roche had been helping me, while all I'd seen Ioverth do was try and kill me.

I like to play it every now and then just to drive around. Love that sandbox. Shame the PC version runs like ass.
-
Duuuude, you totally need to do Ioverth's path as well. You get some extra interesting details from that side of the story.

I want to play that game again now...

FDS is the "I don't see a problem. Works fine for me" guy. Don't mention it! I was a bit lost for a while, so don't think you're a bit dumb for not following. I like having to play catch-up sometimes, it can be way more interesting that way. Especially since the whole story does have a few twists and turns here and there that you won't discover after one playthrough.

I assume we're talking the second game. Firstly, I guess watching this will help because it covers the big plot points in the first game (it says part 2 but I have no idea what part 1 would be) Apologies if that is already in the enhanced edition In terms of what is happening in during the first part of 2. I'll just go over everything in some sort of sequence, so apologies if you know some stuff already. Also, a lot of the story is about not knowing exactly what is going on and just trusting your instincts (with stuff falling into place much later). It's part of the reason I was describing the game as working like a fantasy film noir/detective thriller. Plus, if you want a little more insight, the journal entries on characters and places are well-written and interesting as well as being useful. EPIC THING INCOMING. I probably missed a few incidental details, but I hope that helps and covers enough... Feel free to ask any other questions. Just keep in mind that the game is really meant to be played through twice in order to see all the angles to the story, so I don't want to say too much.
