  1. They won't be happy until BioWare report 'We have transformed the local youth shelter into a programmer sweatshop and have those kids working round the clock to get you the new endings.'
  2. Figured out what I was doing wrong when playing as Sentinel: I was putting points in tech armour. Overload spam FTW. Also, unlocked Krogan soldier. Woo! Now to promote that class tomorrow...
  3. Honestly, the last animated series of TMNT was the best. It took stuff from the comics and previous shows and combined it into something that worked really well. Frankly, the 'ooze' itself is alien in origin and the original comics jumped at sci-fi stuff the first chance they got. Shredder being an alien made perfect sense in the new series and made for a neat twist when he actually got beheaded like in the comics. I'm not too bothered if they're not teenagers, mutants or technically even turtles. It's always about the characters and the dynamic between them. The last film captured this well. It's just unfortunate its main plot was a bit weak. Not exactly the best sort of comparison, but it doesn't matter what ethnicity Nick Fury is; he kicks ass. And I'm not particularly bothered if Banshee isn't Irish; it doesn't make a difference beyond a 'token' role. Characters should be more than just basic descriptors. That sounded way too serious for this topic.

  6. Screw them! The last time anyone 'procured' something was the '70s. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE.
  7. I'd find it hard to go back to Asylum after City. Asylum has the tighter story but City is amazing in most other regards. I'd actually find it hard to go back to an Assassin's Creed game, so we'll see what III brings... You can see my thoughts on Arkham City here.
  8. Not sure if the same is true in America, but the Daily Mail is absolutely awful and infamous for that sort of thing.
  9. Well, to be fair, I actually have no clue what the Templars are doing.
  10. I would like more transparency in my burgers. Was cheese accounted for in the original business plan? Were some calories left out without a price reduction? Was there supposed to be an extra bit of bread with that double?
  11. Problem with Desmond is that he is incredibly boring. He was a device more than a character. I was intrigued by the metanarrative stuff but not the characters involved. I've heard Revelations builds on that (a little), but I am past caring. I'll still be playing ACIII eventually though.
  12. The only Turian/Quarian thing I remember from ME2 was that Quarian moaning about her inconsiderate ex (a human) while the friendzoned Turian was trying to make his move. Yep, the bartender on Illium.
  13. I have to say, looking at the sort of critical content that appears to have been cut and the amount of bugs in the game, real blame lies either with poor management of development and/or forced time restraints. I feel the game needed more time before it was ready. Any artistic integrity was already compromised. Also, discovered that one past decision and EMS play into the ending slightly. But it's all in really intangible ways that don't appear to have any real impact.
  14. Asari were supposed to be 'mono-gendered' (though I think the latest codex says they are all female now). Obviously, they look and sound female but they can adapt their nervous systems to match reproductive partners. The resulting offspring will always be Asari, but with other species' qualities mixed in somehow...
  15. I know others have played with the same idea but I hadn't seen this one before.
  16. Yeah, it all reads a bit "What is this? I don't even-"
