  1. Yeah, same. While I guess they might not have anything they'd be prepared to show, or they're just following the rigmarole of teaser, countdown, CGI trailer, etc., I find it hard to get excited about a CGI trailer. ...and it didn't even have any dub-step.
  2. Hehe. I was not a fan of them since the Halo 3 issue and then, later, with Uncharted 2 but, yeah, that was the biggest frustration. On the plus side, EA Download Manager came through for me, and the game was automatically added to Origin. Don't actually need to run Origin to play, either.
  3. Fuck SteelBooks. That's all I have to say on the matter.
  4. Yikes, I could not imagine trying to play 2, Brotherhood and Revelations all in immediate succession.
  5. That does sound interesting. And the series really did need a revamp.
  6. Looks close enough to me. ...Bruce?
  7. Oh, lame. Best option might be to try and recreate it in the ME3 demo and hang onto the code, I guess? Saves you time 'on the day' anyway.
  8. Yeah, that's what I meant. Although I thought once you click Custom Appearance there is the option for presets or your imported one, no backing out involved.
  9. Hmm, I did this not long ago and I seem to recall that if you select Custom Appearance it plonks you straight into the creator with your imported face, and should have a face code ready at the bottom. Thing is, I'm not sitting through those intro videos again to confirm it. Possibly things have been moved a bit for ME3, but as far as the demo was concerned, the only difference I noticed was it might change the eye colour. Everything else matched up for my guy (including the nose).
  10. I'm on PC, that's why I was wondering if ME2 on the console has face codes, and whether it's a matter of being able to type them in. PC has the advantage of copy & paste but the method can apply to consoles if so.
  11. I think it's mentioned on the forums already, but the solution I can think of, is to start a new game using your ME1 import and go into Custom Appearance when you get the option. Then copy/keep a note of the face code from there (I presume they have those on console too?) and try it out in the demo. As said before, I took a face code from an ME1 import, tweaked it in the ME3 demo and fed it back into ME2 and it was almost identical. Not the simplest method, but that should work, right?
  12. Must have been a NG+ playthrough where that consequence is left in stone. I really hope the fate of the galaxy didn't depend on them.
  13. I can't remember how exactly, but you can get Kelly Chambers to look after your fish for you. Too late now though. Apparently, ME3 has an auto fish-feeder available to buy.
  14. Lol. I edited the face of my main one both times because he looked a bit too freaky. In fiddling around with the ME3 demo, I managed to strike a balance between looking a bit like me and not being fugly (no easy feat either), so I'm gonna edit it again. 'He' is still recognisably the same person, with slight alterations. I actually think my neck and jaw have widened as I've bulked up a bit in the past 4-5 years. Guess that's aging for you.
  15. Yes, Guardians. And yes, you have. If you don't have an armor-piercing weapon, though, shooting the foot or one of the sides is a cheap and easy way to get the kill. I think it depends on what class you're playing and what weapons you use. I've been playing a lot of Vanguard, Adept and Krogan Soldier lately. With the Vanguard (and Adept up close) it's usually a Shockwave then a couple of shots to the head. The Krogan's Carnage gives the same knockback effect too. I think that's one of the real strengths of the combat; being able to find different ways to approach a situation based around your powers as well as weapons.
  16. From the Facebook page. And screenshots of all the multiplayer maps at the bottom of this page. http://www.masseffec...ut/multiplayer/
  17. And putting Mad World over Gears of War.
  18. Oh, man. I hated that bit. Well, I hated being shot down before I could even get a decent weapon. And it felt like enemies could spot you rather easily, while it was hard to get a whole look at the area anyway. The actual fighting was pretty intense, and I was surviving by the skin of my teeth for some parts. Dodge away from grenades, get round cover against those other guys, leap over the edge to avoid the bullet sponge, chuck him down five feet to his death, grab the turret...
  19. Well, I'll hang around outside the EZ to get 'one up' on the enemies; fighting them in a bit more space rather than waiting for them to bombard you in one area. It's the people who don't look at the timer, or rush off and get themselves killed that bug me.
  20. IT'S CALLED AN EXTRACTION ZONE FOR A REASON! Some silly friggin' players...
  21. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=StQS7G3oeXY Maybe turn your speakers down (or up. YEAH!)
  22. They did use a bit of his music at the start. I'm guessing the rest was Two Steps From Hell?
  23. Although, I think UC3 gives you a bit more room in which to run around. Even if the running around is to try and find more ammo because you keep running out... I think the challenge was better though. I found myself moving around a lot more, even utilising blindfire because it was handy. UC2 felt a bit stop-and-pop at times.
