  2. Sonofa- Cheers for the heads-up, Dean. I'm assuming that applies to online orders too. Well, at least Play seem to have the CE of Mass Effect 3. EDIT: OK, so I switched to Play but then I saw ShopTo had it (didn't see it first time I searched) cheaper and with a release day delivery guarantee. Sorted.
  3. Well, while not to the same extent as Braid, the ending can alter how you see the game and it reflects on your own view of the story and attitude. It's something you can discuss with people beyond "Yeah, that was a cool twist."
  4. I like the guy who plays Phil. I think the fact that Steve Carrell never won an Emmy but he did is funny. Abeit a 'supporting' one. Only the pilot of the US version of The Office was like the British one.

  6. Funny because the Phil character seems very much like the guy is impersonating Steve Carrell, and that's the same sort of humour. You'd probably find the British version of The Office even worse.
  7. Turtle soup is an actual thing, though. There is 'mock turtle soup' Considering all the effort, I reckon Shredder should've opted for that. Although, "Tonight, I dine on mock turtle soup!" doesn't quite have the same menace to it.

  9. Yeah, I never got my head around Nova but that sounds pretty cool. I think part of my problem is I started with a Drell Vanguard (with unlocks that seem to insist I should play that class) and his powers aren't so great, and when I did try my other Vanguard, I didn't have a very good team. I was actually thinking we could attempt some sort of 'basic tips & tricks' thing for ME3 multiplayer for PXOD, since you guys seem to know a lot about the ins and outs. Plus, we have a fair few people trying out different classes. Thing is, I know the game has so many different builds. Today, I saw a Krogan soldier rocking a Widow sniper rifle and nothing else...and it actually worked rather well (probably thanks to my singularity too).

  11. Well, I can play as many times as I like with one import, since it lets you switch class. I'm just unsure which I'd go for first. I stuck with Vanguard in ME2 because I figured "Yeah, let's stay faithful...to the class?" but I don't think I played it very effectively; I only died twice on Normal, but spent most my time head-shotting with a Carnfiex. I guess I'd do alright on Normal but I think I want to try Hardcore. Then again, I could save that for a second run. Agh, I don't know!
  12. Problem is, I'm now quite torn as to which class I will choose for single-player. They all seem awesome in their own way, just a shame the demo doesn't let you 'optimise' some of them as you'd hope.
  13. Decided to give Adept a go in ME3 multiplayer. It was actually a lot of fun, even at level 1. I'd never really liked the class in ME2 because it involved a bit of care in line-of-sight for the powers, but it works really well here (I think they tend to home in a bit more). The human adept has a good choice of powers too, although I hear the Asari has Stasis which is supposed to be amazing.

  15. Then I apologise. Really should just ignore FDS, I guess. Would someone really choose to use SIXAXIS if they didn't have to?!
  16. I know Uncharted 2 is like that. I guess FDS is just remembering all wrong. He even said he had to turn it off; not that it was off by default.
  17. I liked the ending to Enslaved. Shame the rest of it was not so great.
  18. That's what I thought but was trying to be polite. ...stupid Ethan.
  19. Plus, grenades are on the off hand in Uncharted 2. So no need to equip them from a weapon menu. Works much better with the flow of the game. I would've assumed Uncharted 1 had an option to turn off SIXAXIS grenade-throwing.
  20. Fair point. Uncharted 2 is better but there is an over-reliance on bullet sponges towards the end, and one section drags on far too long. Great game overall though.
  21. New activities like this? Just been reading some stuff about the games and Krogans have '240-degree vision'. So, why is their FOV in multiplayer so limited? And I'm assuming... PROBABLY EVERYONE KNOWS ABOUT THE CHARACTER BY NOW BUT JUST IN CASE
