  1. I don't think I was impressed as everyone else seemed to be with Kung Fu Panda, but I do still remember one great bit. Where Po is lying about his dream, saying it was about noodles to appease his restaurant-owning dad (voiced by the wonderful James Hong). And then his dad is all, "You finally had the noodle dream!"

  3. Not exactly the best place for the ad.
  4. EDIT: I am actually tempted by Ghostbusters, considering how cheap it is. I played the Wii version a bit with my family and it seemed entertaining enough even if the gameplay wasn't outstanding. I know there are differences between the versions but I can't recall how drastic they are. Might get that Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines if it's the game I think I've seen loads of people praising.
  5. Hehe. Thanks! I mentioned it in another thread, I think, but I spent a while trying to find a decent shirt. The groom had told us it was more 'smart casual' so I wanted to make sure I didn't look like someone just turning up in their work suit (which most actually did). Had some great trousers and just needed a simple shirt. Next had a 'tonic' one in teal and that seemed perfect. (Cool story, bro)
  6. It may surprise you but I never earned my star for thoughtful comments. It was always for stupid jokes. I can't really say that stars actually mean anything on Kotaku anyway and I barely recognise any commenters anymore. I actually started reading Kotaku just because of the 'silly' articles. For example, I think I discovered Arby 'n' the Chief through them many years ago. I wouldn't ever use them for game news and it's obvious they're not very good at it. I stayed because of the community, people like Showmeyomoves! always made me laugh but, lo and behold, now all those people are here. So it all worked out in the end.
  7. Could PXOD writers (barring Dean and STenshi. Thanks, you two) please check GDocs. Specifically the Article Seeds section. Looking for some feedback, thanks!

I'm really bad at remembering to log in to Steam =p Thanks for the feedback!

I'll check. (PS: I need someone to read someone my almost-done article too :P)

Yeah, I was going to check that when it was all there.

  8. Heh. I like it. Though you might want to consider using the pagebreak thing in your articles so it doesn't display the entirety of them on the main page. Holy scrolly!
  9. Yeah, I really liked the co-op. Competitive can be fun with friends though. I seem to remember that, as a decent-sized group of us, TAY could really kick some butt. You especially, Kenshi. Hehe. Just checked the ND stats page (thanks to Dean for linking it) and I have 666 kills in competitive. Maybe I should just quit.
  10. That's what I'm wondering. I'd assume it doesn't but you never know... And, from what Heartless has said, I think 35 is the max level at the moment. You still earn cash but just don't level up.

  12. I'd have to agree with you on that. It can be nice to surprise people with an RPG you've suddenly spawned but I feel it's the loadout stuff really ruins the game, especially for new starters. Finding an M4 or a sniper rifle was good but only temporary, now everyone above a certain level can spawn with them. As far as I'm aware, it is not a beta but the complete competitive multiplayer side to the game.
  13. Hehe. Reminds me of when I made logos in Rock Band. One time I did a shark wielding a sword, and for my latest, 'Rocktopus', it is an octopus wearing sunglasses.
  14. Started playing the Da Vinci Disappearance add-on that came with my copy and it's been quite fun. One section felt fairly linear but was quite satisfying. Sort of like Uncharted.
  15. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q4oB8fI1TxE I've actually got a different version than what is up on YouTube. Must have been rerecorded or remastered, I guess.
  16. Ha. That's pretty much how I feel. Has he mellowed out maybe? Anyway, I have long stood by Eurogamer reviews and I can't see anything wrong here either. Of course, I haven't played the full game yet...like every other person even commenting on this. Either way, too much fucking talk about scores rather than the substance of a review.
  17. Fair enough. I did not know Skyrim was Steamworks but, yeah, that's why getting Deus Ex: HR a bit early was a pain. If I were so inclined I could've been playing it at half past midnight, Friday morning (and probably turning up late for work) though
  18. Hmm, maybe it varies for different regions but, going back about 3-4 years now, friends and I have always received our online pre-orders at least a day early. Not that it makes a difference for games like Deus Ex: HR (PC). It's lucky for me anyway because I can't get to a store usually because of when I work.
  19. You pre-ordered instore?! Who does that anymore?
  20. That's bizarre because nothing went wrong with mine and I got Gears 3 super early thanks to them. Plus, GAME didn't need a £5 deposit for my pre-order of Uncharted 3. That might be specific releases though?
  21. Hehe. We haven't done something like this in ages. I think my all-time favourite dream is in here: http://forum.pressxo...p?showtopic=406 My most recent one I can recall seems to have been inspired by reading about the Banquet of Chestnuts because of the Borgias in AC:B. Not quite as salacious but still...
  22. 1977 is an odd mix of pop sensibilities with a sometimes grungy feel whereas Free All Angels has a more straightforward pop-rock feel. I figured everyone knew this song. This is a later track people may recognise either from Shaun of the Dead or Burnout 3.
  23. 1977 is a really good album. I really like that and Free All Angels (although, that has some dreadful tracks). A lot of the early stuff is quite good whereas later on they only had a few good singles. That track is from their first (mini) album though. Called 'Trailer' to state the obvious.
