Nope. Apparently, it's tied into the Nickelodeon show story/setting-wise; they've just gone for a very different art style. It may look generic, but I haven't played a decent, new beat 'em up in a while and this could be the ticket.

'At this point, which question are you most likely to buy at launch?' Huh? 'Will you buy a next gen console at launch?' HUH?! (Also, is the second question not covered by the first?)

Not really excited by E3 at all, but it was fairly good news in that it I can stick with PC, then should I ever want a next-gen console (which wouldn't be for a long while anyway), the decision is straightforward. All the games that interested me were multi-plat (if not PC, then current gen) or too far off to care about.

OK, so I've always been a big fan of TMNT. They've not had a stellar track record with games (and the old ones only really survive on nostalgia), but this looks pretty neat and will be on PC as well as consoles. Figured I might as well make a topic for it. It's your typical beat 'em up, so it's not going to set the world on fire or anything (and setting the world on fire is not a good thing. Ask Billy Joel), but I like how all the turtles will be present at the same time even in single-player, allowing you to switch between them. That should spice things up a bit, I think. Otherwise, co-op is always good fun. Funnily enough, they've made these character trailers...except they only show off one turtle at a time, which works for that purpose but risks obscuring what I think is a cool feature. Which also includes some new images (mousers!) I'm actually quite fond of the look they've chosen for the turtles, as it hews close to the original comics, plus the art style itself is pretty cool and less cartoony than older games. The only thing I would change if I could, is the nostrils being so visible like they are, but it certainly doesn't put me off the game in any way, obviously. UPDATE: Release date is 28th August for PC and 360, and 24th September for PS3. I see he's learned a grapple trick off of Just Cause 2's Rico. Looks good. Seems very action-packed even during supposedly stealthy-sections, but I'm cool with that. If they can successfully ramp up the stealth sections so they feel a little more fluid and Batman-like, that'd be great. Especially if they improve the walk/run animations...

Arya has a habit of turning up when people are losing their heads... Also, funny seeing Tywin Lannister using an expression equivalent to one I'd first seen Margaret Thatcher use: 'Being powerful is like being a lady. If you have to tell people you are, you're not' (Alternatively: big dog don't gotta bark) I'm intrigued by what you guys are saying about Dany...but I must not dig any deeper!

I don't think anyone's doubting the Ellie AI so much. It's the 'balance of power' stuff where enemies react differently depending on different things: backing off if they're unarmed and you have a gun trained on them, knowing to pressure you if they hear your gun click from being empty/jammed, setting up ambushes, etc.
