  1. Yeah, the numbers seem a bit crazy. You'd have to take away a bunch of people who are too old or too young and in that range or people who are likely to pirate your % goes up. Also, I wonder if they have 18 million IP addresses or instances. More than one person can be using a single connection. I wouldn't be surprised if the real number would be closer to 50%.
  2. You can only access UPlay features through a code or the online features through a code?
  3. Seizmic zone 0 here. Also some more info on the craziness of this interchange. "The interchange comprises 37 bridges distributed across 5 levels (thus the name "High Five"), with the highest ramps 120 feet (37 m) above ground.[3] The High Five consists of nearly 60 lane-miles of new roadway and stretches 2.4 miles (3.9 km) north/south and 3.4 miles (5.5 km) east/west.[1]"

I'm a bit surprised that we're midway into July and we have no release date or more info on the Vita. PS3 + Vita may have capability but will they take advantage of it?

  6. Yeah, shutting down the servers and disallowing roster updates for sports games just to push people to upgrade every year bugs me but I suppose there's not much that can be done about that. I did however realize that roster updates don't bother me as much as they used to. Personally, what bothers me much more is the NFL monopoly madden has. I hope that gets broken up.
  7. crap, didn't realize there was an episode 3. Gonna have to get that. "This deal keeps getting worse all the time!" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W56GtCNYKUI
  8. Really the best way is just to build these things all over the freaking place, at least, that's what they do here in Dallas.
  9. I honestly don't much care to preserve different languages or forms. Seems as though things would be easier if everybody spoke the same language. I would learn swahili if it's what the whole world agreed to speak.
  10. Age of zombies on android is pretty good
  11. I'm going to be ditching my 1 disc netflix plan and only stream in light of price increase. I think that's what netflix wants though.

Is there even a reason why Netflix continues to increase the price? As a non-customer I really don't see myself paying individually for both, and don't see myself using just one.

We use the streaming all the time for kids shows for my daughter. The disc thing was nice but it's not worth $10 by itself.

Rocky: They claim it's the licensors jacking up the prices on their end (you know to offset the cost of lost DVD sales.) I really think the MPAA wants everyone to pirate.

  12. okay, I PM'd you my email. Just got an invite from a friend. Thanks anyway though.
  13. I'd like an invite if anyone has one. Looks like the site is maxed now though.
  14. after playing for all of 3 hours I officially dominate TF2

Congratulations! You are now officially better than 90% of TF2's userbase. Now, prepare to join us in the unofficial, unspoken "God, Why Does Everyone Else on TF2 Suck So Much Donkey Ass?!?!" club.

  15. Well, that's assuming they go the PowerPC route again. Admittedly the rumors are that they're going with a new IBM cell chip which seems really bizarre to me considering it was sort of a debacle for Sony this generation. Of course, going PowerPC again would be good IMO because then there would be a better chance for emulation of previous generation games.
  16. I agree it's beyond a long shot. I do however think it would be awesome to go to the store and buy one disc that would work in either the next Xbox console or a windows based PC.
  17. Not sure the best place for this but this would be freaking awesome. http://www.engadget.com/2011/07/12/xbox-360-pops-up-in-win-8-code-console-game-compatibility-comin/
  18. Here's Tom's Hardware's benchmark on it. Looks like "will it run Crysis 2?" will be standard now. The game is super harsh on compys. I will say that on my 6950 it runs great if you turn everything to ultra except objects. Objects stay on extreme or whatever the 2nd highest setting is otherwise my compy gets very upset. http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/crysis-2-directx-11-performance,2983.html
  19. For some reason Terreria was on sale for $2.50 when I got it but it's up to $5 now for some reason.
  20. I just picked up X3 superbox. I have a friend who is super addicted to it so I figured I'd give it a go. Also picked up Terreria since it looks like fun.
  21. Picked up Arma II as well. I didn't much care for Operation Flashpoint but maybe things have come along since then.
  22. after refreshing 5 tabs repeatedly I was able to get a code for Arma II. Any way to make it work without downloading their client?
  23. Yeah, and the fact that the classic controller on the Wii had to plug into a Wiimote sucked.
  24. Why is the space req. for BF3 15GB for the disc version but only 10GB for the download verion?

I wonder if it has to do with how the content is installed. Maybe it takes 15GB to copy and unpack and then once all is done final files are 10GB
