    Apple

It's true; the flexibility of Android means that there is a wide variety of phones and tablets to choose from, including shitty ones. When my phone bricked, I got a new one free and a loaner phone for free. When my wife's iPhone bricked, she had to pay $100 on top of Apple Care to get a replacement. My phone's memory is expandable. My phone's OS is customizable. My phone's battery is user replaceable. 10 times out of 10, people who prefer Apple products are ignorant or obtuse.
  2. "Also, people want to say it's like "Pay-to-Win," but what exactly are people winning?" It's true; there is little that is as pointless as Destiny.

    Apple

Apple bilks it's customers. There are plenty of cheaper (than an iphone) android phones that allow you to use sd cards for more memory and let you replace the battery without too much hassle. IPhones blow and Apple consumer products are for suckers.
  4. Oh shit Divinity Original Sin 2 is out tomorrow.

  5. Just haven't wretched them yet. My wife also loves bojack but she won't watch more than three episodes a day, so I didn't binge them all over the weekend.
  6. The Ricklantis Mixup was some goddamned brilliant television. Rick and Morty continues to impress me with its central cohesion amidst zany chaos. Also, the new season of BoJack Horseman is phenomenal, at least through episode 7.
  7. Yes, Deadwood was indeed the greatest TV show ever.
  8. However you wanna rationalize that gambling problem, man.
  9. If everyone on the forum gets Destiny 2 for PC, so will I.

I don't think it runs on toys, so no Mac or Switch versions.

If I can hold off for a few weeks I'll be getting it on PC.

      Assuming I can hold off.

I'm not 'in the conversation' and its killing me.

@danielpholt Even if you have the game, if you're not playing it 24/7, there are people who have been uncovering so much that it feels like even I'm missing out.

  10. Apparently In humans is hot trash, according to reviews of the Imax premiere. Nobody should be surprised.
  11. The Vindicators episode is the weakest of a great season of Rick and Morty, so far. Pickle Rick was one of the series' best episodes.
  12. War of the Chosen is fucking awesome.

  13. I bought War of the Chosen and it is pretty neat.
  14. Obsidian, Supergiant, Telltale, Bioware, Firaxis, Arkane Studios, and Paradox. There are lots of other good developers, and most of my favorites have made a bad game or two, but I give these groups all the benefit of the doubt.
  15. Mods: please fix the thread name, since Daniel misspelled "favorite."
  16. Because it's a standalone reboot series that remixes concepts from the 'original' series. Ignore whatever nonsense the people involved have said in interviews. There's no way the Heston movie could happen within the lifetime of any of the reboot characters. And all of the apes are very very good at speaking, implying many generations have gone because none of the apes in the reboot series speak like Cornelius or Dr. Zaius in the 'original'. Also, I saw Ingrid Goes West and Logan Lucky this weekend and greatly enjoyed both.
  17. I think I will be free too late for you guys this weekend. Next Sunday looks super good, though.
  18. Pyre. A pretty cool visual novel/mystical sports/RPG game. I think it's worth your time.
  19. I've been playing Pyre because it's pretty rad. Unlike a lot of the reviewers, I'm enjoying the, um, gameplay portion of it very much, and the visual novel portion is top-notch. It's difficult to talk about without spoiling anything since it deals a lot in twisty revelations both regarding new gameplay options and the story. I like it more than either Transistor or Bastion, and those are also pretty fucking cool games. Like those games, the art, narration, and music are all beyond excellent. I eagerly await Supergiant's next game, no matter what odd blend of genres it is. Pro-tip if you're playing on PC, under no circumstances play it with a mouse and keyboard; the controls are atrocious. It is immeasurably better with a gamepad.
  20. Pyre is pretty darn neat.

That is probably next on my list after Aven Colony.  Sunless Sea is the other likely contender.

Sunless sea is kinda rogue lite-ish and is appropriate to play chunks of across multiple sessions in between playing other games. Kinda like FTL.

Pyre is a more traditional game. Kinda.

  21. I'm open to CAH. I'll hope on Discord when I'm free this weekend, but it will probably not be convenient for folks overseas.
  22. I liked the Telltale Batman game quite a bit, but I'm a sucker for Telltale games. It's not as good as Walking Dead Season One, Wolf Among Us or the Borderlands game, but it's pretty fun.
  23. Jon and Dany will 100% hook up. Hell, they may even get married so the North could join the kingdom under the Iron Throne without Jon bending the knee.
  24. I'm down to play anything. Century Spice Road sounds good to me.
  25. Sunday evening is good for me, too. maybe around 7pm your time.
