Ok, so MP was a tacked-on horde mode. Got it. And, yes; the real damage to ME3 was the rushed schedule and weaker writing.

LOL. Although Watch_Dogs was bad, it wasn't as bad as the other disappointments in that video.

One of the issues with ME3 was a continuing samey-ness to the combat encounters, which may have had its basis in balancing the enemies and combat overall to work in the MP horde mode.

I'm just salty that Bioware spends money and time on developing and balancing gameplay for MP when I think that it would serve the SP campaign better to ditch MP.

I had planned to do that, but it's too long, and the section breaks are too far apart, and I just didn't relish the idea of playing all the in-between parts again. Liked my first playthrough though.

Uncharted 4. Best gameplay in the series, but I think the new Tomb Raider games are a little better. But, holy hell, I forgot how insane the production values are in Naughty Dog games. Great fun, can't wait for TLoU 2.

That all sounds decidedly mediocre to me. The early previews of Horizon make it sound infinitely more interesting than any Killzone game. I only played Killzone 2, and I did not really like it.

What? They have only made the mediocre Killzone games, as far as I know. What great games has Guerrilla produced? I should be clear that I'm not going to buy this game based on pre-release hype; I'm waiting for reviews. It looks very interesting, but I'm not a sucker.

If Zelda were that important to the masses, more people would have bought a Wii U. I don't think Horizon has much to fear from it, and any world in which the Wii U was a success would be so radically different from our own, that we can't really know if in such a world Zelda would threaten Horizon. That said, I'm not saying Horizon will be successful; just that Zelda won't be a real factor.

There are 13.36 million Wii U consoles. Plus whatever launch sales are for the switch. Let's be super generous and assume 2 million Switch units are sold week 1. That's about 15.36 million consoles in the wild capable of playing Zelda at launch. There are, by contrast, 53.4 million PS4 consoles. I think that if Horizon fails, it will not be due to Zelda. Edit: That makes more sense, Dean. I would be surprised if you agreed with TCP on this point.

That presupposes that a lot of people own Wii Us or plan to buy a Switch plus Zelda. I think, in reality, the overlap between Nintendo drones and discerning gentlepeople who buy the only console worth owning and want to play Horizon is smaller than you would think.
