Did you just do a 180 on Unity, Kenshi? I was about to chime in and say that I'm enjoying it and have not experienced any significant bugs except random NPCS on the street walking as if they were halfway submerged into the street, which was weird, but tolerable.

Dragon Age Inquisition reviews are out and the verdict is that it's a pretty darn good game, better than the first two.

They've really made the various Wonder/quest victories tough and drawn-out. I keep losing because some civ on the other side of the planet completes their beacon or mindflower victories first. Maybe next time I will just attack everyone from the get-go.

I liked DA. Love? I just don't see any reason to. There wasn't much to put it above much of anything. Unless you like awkward sex scenes and some flat out terrible writing at times. Bioware's done better but it looks like they're bringing their A-game to Inquisition at least.

So, apparently EA will release a free text adventure game that bridges DA 2 and Inquisition. Playable via Origin once you complete the dragon age keep world setup web utility thing.The keep is what will be used in Inquisition and other DA games to keep track of your choices going forward. Warning: the keep was originally supposed to sync to your saved games from DAO and DA2. That is no longer the case; you have to go back and re-choose every choice. You can import the look and name of a saved hawke and warden, which is nice. It took me a while, but I recreated my favorite DA:O and DA2 playthroughs. The utility then stitches together a flash movie recapping the narrative your choices makes, narrated by Varric. It's kinda cool. I think the game is designed so that expansionist civs get kinda stuck in the first tier of negative health since the penalties aren't all that bad.I worry when I get -10 or less health.

Yeah, 2 hrs with Origins is really not much time at all, so I assumed Kenshi did not like anything about the gameplay or world.

Uh, if you disliked Origins, then you probably won't like Inquisition. The hype is for those of us who are fans of the franchise.

Lightsabers would be dangerous anyway, Ethan, since there's no weight to the blade to give the user feedback as to its position. That's one of the in-universe reasons why folks who can't use the Force don't use them; it takes a sixth sense to wield a lightsaber and, improtantly, train with a lightsaber effectively. The cross-guards just look super dumb, though.

Civil War in the MCU will be much smaller-scale than in the comics. Bet that it will turn out that Thanos or some other Big Bad manipulated Cap and Stark into gunning for each other.

Really, though, the MCC is just a sign of 343 Spark's and Microsoft's creative bankruptcy and failure to innovate with a new Halo game. But you know what? Like heroin addicts, Halo fans don't care as long as they get the stuff that makes them feel good again.

I bet you ONE large Boston Pizza pizza (up to 3 toppings) that by the end of the generation it'll be on PS4. It's probably just a 5 year deal like Mass Effect. Boston pizza: missing the mark by about 215 miles.
